Every time I add water to the soil, the buds smell but not as strong as when I add nutrients. When I add nutrients the buds of the plant smell way stronger and potent. Is it normal? What would happen if I kept adding nutrients(water between every feeding still) till I crop?

I have the growers edge 60x microscope I bought recently. When trying to look at the trichs it they all look clear but they are over 8 weeks of flower and have 50% brown hairs. I am supposed to check trichs in the dark cycle or am I using the microscope wrong?

Do I have to wait until the soil is dry to crop? When cropping does it matter where I start cutting the plant or should I cut the main stem out the soil and then start cutting?

The top of my plants was straight now it has started spiraling and twisting so it is touching the reflective material. The only way I can fix it is to remove the material. Is this bad for the plant? The top cola is leaning slightly against the reflective material.

The hairs are brown on lower parts of plants except the tops of the plants have white hairs.

Sorry I didn't mention earlier. Pic 1, 2, and 3 are the same plant. The top of it is just white but the rest of the plant has brown hairs. Pic 1 and 5 are the same plant also. Ill add better pics later.

When would you crop them 1 or 2 weeks?

The sense is strong already lol. I use 2-3-3 blue moon bloom. The hairs are brown on the bottom of the plant with some white hairs. But the tops of the plant are still white hairs.

For drying I am planning to hang the buds off a string. Does the string have to be straight or can I have it hanging at an angle? Do you start curing once the stems crack in half? When curing in a glass jar, how long do I need to open it every day? Does it matter if the jar is all the way...

So I think I will crop at the end of the light cycle then.

I could crop it during light or dark cycle then?

Once I am ready to crop my plants, should I leave them in 24 hour darkness first and crop at the end of that dark cycle?

Wait until fan leaves start to yellow? Do I need to leave them in the dark for a few days before I clip or can I clip it when it is in light too?

I can't buy a magnifier until I get paid in 2 weeks.. I don't know what trichs look like.

Ok thanks, but at the top nearly 95% hairs are white so do you think it is too late to crop it yet?

When in flowering, do the hairs usually turn brow at the bottom of the plant and make their way up? My purple haze(sativa) has some white hairs on the bottom of it but the top is almost all white hairs. Is it normal?
