    TGA Chernobyl

Not much change today...but here's another shot of her with a lighter for scale. Chernobyl is know to be only an average yielding strain, and I'm only using 400W (an old bulb too) so I'd be happy with 3 oz or thereabouts. Time will tell.

    sensiseed bank quality

Here's a catalogue from SS that I got on a trip to Dam back in around 2000-ish...for anyone interested in old-school Sensi Seeds info. Could add more pages if anyone's interested. I still have about 15 seeds left which I bought on the same day...they're an "indoor mix" pack, so could have some...

Check me out I got mushrooms in my organic grow!!!

I had some similar in my pot, but they died when I let the soil aerate between waterings. They looked similar to those, but definitely weren't liberty caps, so maybe don't experiment if you aren't sure....;) :spew:

Is the moon considered a light leak?

The effect of moonlight on soil can be entirely replicated indoors with the correct application of correctly tuned quartz crystals...

Yellowing centers shortly into flower ! Help ! **pics**

Hmm. That's a bit unusual. Doesn't look like classic deficiency, although you can't rule that out completely yet. If it doesn't get significantly worse (the light green parts turning yellow or brown) on the leaves which already have it, and continues to appear on others it could be some sort...

    Nutrient burn in Soil?

I grow in soil a lot, and find that watering until you see run-off is generally unnecessary. I water slowly, so there are no dry spots, and keep adding water every 5 minutes or so until water is just seeping out. If I'm worried about salt for any reason (if I've added extra nutes, which I rarely...

    TGA Chernobyl

I forgot to mention that she had a mutation where she grew alternating sets of 2 and 3 branches per node, from about the 4th bottom node right the way to the top. That's also part of the reason I didn't top her. I didn't want to lose that...

    TGA Chernobyl

The photo above was from 10 days ago..this is the latest. Hopefully she won't eat up her leaves too quick. I'm sure there's 2 weeks left at least. We'll see. Here's a closer shot of the main cola... and the bud sites just below it... I might well trim off the worst 2 fan leaves at the top...

    TGA Chernobyl

I'd better post a pic of the whole plant, but please...no laughing. As I said, I didn't want to risk slowing her down with trimming or training, so she's a natural shape. Not exactly an efficient use of space, but it is what it is. The main cola is about a foot long, but not so packed...

So these are the girls 1 week from soil. 1st grow Skywalker OG

No foxtailing that i can see. Keep doing what yer doing... EDIT: Also, I think raising the lights was the right thing to do. The discolouration on the top leaves could certainly be early signs of too much light. Doesn't look serious though, so shouldn't impact your harvest.

How to have a perfect indoor organic soil grow...every time.

I dunno. You don't really need to worry about EC in soil if you're only feeding water. So I don't even have an ec meter. It could probably give you an idea of how hot your mix is and when it's beginning to run dry. Maybe just monitor if over a week and see how she does and if the EC starts...

    Oh...forgot to add that it's a soil-only organic grow.

    TGA Chernobyl

Just wanted to add my current Chernobyl grow, since this is a pretty legendary strain, and you can never have too many dankenstein grow journals. Just a single plant as that's all I've got room for. This was the last seed out of a pack I bought 7 years ago. I'd tried to germ 2 others earlier in...

    Anyone with air cooled hid?

I have a short tent and found that even with my air-cooled hood, and only 400W HPS, I was still running into heat (and light burn) problems in a small zone directly under the light. This wasn't too far off 18", so keep an eye out as seedlings can die fast if you get it wrong. Also make sure your...

How to have a perfect indoor organic soil grow...every time.

That looks good to me. You've still got space to top-up too, which help. My experience is that inexperienced soil growers lose more yield by over-feeding (or through overheating and overwatering) than they would if they had stuck to plain water, or mostly plain water. My previous mostly-water...

How to have a perfect indoor organic soil grow...every time.

Ha. That's quite a mix. Ultimately, I can't tell you how hot that mix is. But it sounds like it should be able to take you through to harvest...if there's enough of it for the size she gets after vegging and stretch. If you have good light and temps, with some air circulation, then you should...

How to have a perfect indoor organic soil grow...every time.

Looking good. You sure it's your first? ;) Have you just watered em when you took that?
