    More nutrient help

I am using soil (FFOF), and I'm growing outdoors. I'll look into those. Honestly, the only reason I got the botanicare is because it was $8 a quart. Nutes I've used in the past were considerably more than that. I was wanting to see the the difference and I've been very happy with the...

    More nutrient help

I'm getting the info from the thread on this site called "The Best NPK" Some say 10-5-5 for veg Some say 15-8-9 or 20-20-20 for veg For flowering some are saying 3-13-13 20-50-30 They are all over the place but they are all pretty damn high. I'm so confused.

    More nutrient help

I don't know why this is just coming to me me but I have been using botanicare cns17 vegetative. That has an NPK of 3-1-2. That seems no where near recommended levels. Is it because I'm feeding the plant every watering that it's maintaining well? Should I be feeding my plant cal-mag, molasses...

    NorCal flowering?

This is my GG#4. I did not plant these until July 27th so you could say I was a little late haha. That's why they're so small though. I got them just big enough to get into flowering. The second picture the front one with the tomato cage is white fire, and behind it is the smallest but not...

    NorCal flowering?

I always thought it was 12/12. Like I said I've never grown outdoors. A lot of posts on here will say that outdoor plants do flower when they have exactly less than 12 hours of light. Thanks for clearing that up.

    NorCal flowering?

I'm near Sacramento. Thanks for the advice! I can't believe that there hasn't been clouds at all since I've been here. I never would've thought to get rain protection.

I've never heard of croptober! Haha I just moved out here so that could be why. Thanks!

    NorCal flowering?

I've never grown outdoors, but according to this my plants won't begin to flower until the end of September. I was expecting flowering to begin in about 2 weeks or so and to be harvesting at the end of October. According to this I won't be harvesting till December. Any info would be great.

    Female pre flower? GG#4

This is my first outdoor grow, and I'm curious if this is a female pre flower on my, or something else. Possibly something I should be concerned about. The only thing that is making me think it's not something bad like a pollen sac is the little hairs coming out of it. I put the poll in just for...

    Curious spider

I have seen this spider on my plant for a few days now. I know it's not a spider mite, but if anyone could identify what it is that would be great. I just need to know if it will do harm or actually be protecting my crop. You may be able to see its web on some of the developing tops.

How burnt is too burnt? (clones)

I did get them acclimated to 100+ degree temps. My strategy for watering has been just feeling the soil. They're in fox farm ocean forest so I haven't had to feed them anything yet. I was just curious if the clay would be retaining unecessary moisture, and cause problems. I saw it on a video...

    Need Nutrient Help

I planted a few clones into 3 gallon pots with fox farm ocean soil a week ago. I added some clay pellets because it's very dry here. I also bought a cheap bottle of Botanicares CNS17 bloom 2-2-3. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this brand. It says to feed the plants every...

How burnt is too burnt? (clones)

I have only had to water them once in the 3 days. I found it odd because it's so hot and dry, but I figured the clay pellets were doing their job. Is there a risk of mold or something related to having too much moisture that I need to watch out for?

How burnt is too burnt? (clones)

I have some severely burned leaves on some of my clones. I have since gotten a sun screen. They've been stagnant for a few days with minor drooping. I'm just wondering if there is any hope? Or if they are just shocked badly? I have never grown outdoors, and the temperatures have been over 100...

What's wrong with this clone (Girl Scout cookies)

Would that be an actual screen? I saw some spray options as well.

    You're not helping at all.

What's wrong with this clone (Girl Scout cookies)

What do you mean by small doses? Leave them in the shade all day? The heat is also the problem. It's been 105-110 since I've had them. I was just letting them root some what indoors for a day or two. They were clones started off indoors.

What's wrong with this clone (Girl Scout cookies)

I put them back inside because the sun was too strong. Should I leave it as is, or cut 1 or 2 of the really damages leaves off?

What's wrong with this clone (Girl Scout cookies)

I bought 3 clones to plant outside and one of them started dropping and curling within an hour of it being out there. I put it in shade, but I'm wondering if that will be enough? Do I need to move it back inside? I read if they're not fully rooted they will be more sensitive. In my opinion they...

    The best light for veg

I would recommend T-5's even though I'm vegging under a 600w hps now. However, I started the seeds off under a T-5 strip and they loved it. Ever since I moved them under the 600w they've been alright. I just think at their age they definitely respond to T-5's better. I want to get a larger T-5...
