600hps/MH in an enclosed hood cost me $200 shipped. Apollo bulbs are $20 on amazon. Light, oscillating fans, and duct fan cost $30/month to run
LED's arent there yet with HPS sorry. Your not going to come close to yield and penetration with anything in the $200 range with COB
People that think...
Even 11/13 - 10/14
People are very set on being exactly 12/12 or 18/6. You can change it alot with new digital timers. I run 17/7 for veg this run, and will flower 11/13. Electricity cost is very high were I live
Spraying some colodial on one plant, and chucking its pollen on another doesnt sounds to horrible.
Sure it may cost me both plants at worst, but thats what $25? For 50 seeds I could possibly create thats no problem at all
spraying the colodial doesnt give you seeds though, you spray it on a female plant, and that female instead of flowerring will produce pollen sacs, you let the sacs mature and collect there pollen, then use that pollen to pollenate a female plant.
Ive got seed production on my mind for the upcoming grow season and am loving the idea of growing autos outdoors, but would love to make my own auto seeds.
If I were to buy a pack of auto feminized seeds from a seedbank, start them, spray a few branches with colodial silver, collect pollen...
Wet a towel a few times a day? Your not going to beat 16% humidity with a towel. You need a humidifier
90 is on the high side, but if you have a fan above the canopy and I hope you do, its fine
If you follwed the comparative on the other forums were it was run simultaneously youd say the complete opposite, alot of stretchy and nute burn'd plants on this forum, while most other examples were pulling 1oz a plant easy. Which isnt a ton, but I didnt see many if any others give up on the...
Dr. Whos plants looked real amateur though, must have been 4" between the nodes spacing, plants didn't seem to produce at all. I grew the same seeds and got decent yields but the plants atleast had colas and wasnt all fluff. My flowers were solid
If electricity is cheap in your area, sure give em 24 hours. I live in an area where electricity is very high, so I run 16/8 , but still have fine results for a personal grow
Depends alot where OP lives I suppose. Last frost is 120 days away for me, and if I started a mother seed now the plant could be 6' tall by the time it came to cut and root clones 2 weeks before I anticipated planting them and would have alot more than a dozen growth tips for cloning
