I heard you can bake them in the oven to "reactivate" the carbon but I've never done it. It's a mess, not impossible to clean up. I would just get a new one, There was a hydro shop where I use to live that would sell their own and you could exchange them like empty propane tanks.

If those roots are growing your fine. I've never used clonex in a dwc just plain tap water to get them going, but if it's working go for it! This is my favorite part, the whole starting up thing taking root and growing branches. I cant stand harvesting though.

Honestly, I never even worry about the ph level of soil. Never even checked it, it's a pretty good buffer. Your plant is looking fantastic so just keep doing what your doing!
