Hmm not sure if you can go too young, as it's just kelp. I think it's hard to over use it. Unless it builds up in your soil and attracts other stuff. So I'd say use it as soon as the plants can uptake it - and be sure not to use too much. :)

Might be a slight underestimate.. & The nugs are very dense, 2 jars are just full of 2.0-4.0g nuggets. Most jars are 1-2.25 from my estimates/experiences.

Well just saying if you want a 4x4 canopy in a 5x5 space I'd go with a 1000w if not a 600w on a 3x3 or 3.5x3.5. Light intensity really helps things move along..
