hey guys, my 5 new plants started from seed are a little over 4 weeks old and I noticed that one of them (one out of the 2 liberty hazes im running) is already throwing pistils...no bud development from what i can tell yet though, none of the other plants are doing this. I've grown quite a few...

looks normal to me all my veg plants look exactly the same, as the new growth matures the color evens out.

Ever tried washing sap off your hands as a kid? Doubt bud washing with plain water would work..maybe a h2o2 solution would work?

You need to have a small clip on fan blowing across the tops of the plants otherwise they will just sit there baking under it. I have 2 sets of 4 bulb t5 lights and i have 2 small fans constantly blowing on the tops of the plants and the temperature stays at around 75-80...

I would never FIM or top in flower, I rarely even do it in veg. Look into LST (low stress training) its done with plastic coated twist ties and I do it to all my plants to keep them short.

veeery gently push the dirt out of the way from the other seedling and pull it out slowly, dont force it otherwise youll damage any formed roots. they build root systems fast so this would be best to do asap. once you have it pulled, transplant into another pot.

hey guys, about to start my next grow and i've been wondering if it would be better to have my 600 watt HPS run on an 18 hour cycle for vegging or use my 213 watt cfl/t5 set up. which would I get better results in? Or could I also use both at the same time? Would the CFL help at all?

It's good for killing any bugs that reside in the soil. I've heard of some people "dusting" the plant, where they take like a condiment bottle full of it and just dust the plant with it to kill bugs on leaves or stems but i've never tried it. I'd imagine it'd be easy for you to get rid of them...
