The two posts above me are correct. The first thing I would do is get more light to that plant ASAP then start reading. There's not much you can do until you give that thing some decent lighting first.

Hopefully it turns out alright. I used to always start my seeds the same way so I think it's the over watering based on the discussion, sounds like you have it handled. I would highly recommend running a few easy and cheap to grow plants when learning hydro. Garden beans or lettuce for example...
