Here’s a bud after trimmed and cured with the ipower trimmer. I trimmed, and put buds on a drying rack on a pretty good size plant in less than an hour. I used to like hand trimming, but one decent sized plant would take hours.
My last grow I switched from a cmh 315 to an hlg 350r. I didn’t know much about using it at the time, so I ran it full power, and started to get foxtailing, so be aware of that.
I’m on my first grow with an hlg 350r, and so far plants look great in a 2x4 tent. They’re kind of hard to get though. They seem to be out of stock a lot which indicates to me there must be some high demand for them.
I’d just leave in the 5 gal. You will still get a nice plant. I would keep feeding veg nutes for a couple of weeks through the stretch phase, then once you start seeing “budlets”, I’d switch to bloom.
Yes, I use it all the way through. I mix my soil with perlite, fruit and flower 4-9-3, and worm castings. Then top dress with the 4-9-3 and worm castings once a month. I also use a little bio thrive bloom during flower, but don’t know if it’s really necessary.
This auto is 7 weeks as a comparison. Next time I would suggest larger fabric pots, and less nutrients. Those look burned a little with nitrogen which will stunt the flowers.
Depending on where your located, the days have started to get shorter already, so it would start flowering in the next two or 3 weeks anyway regardless of auto or photo. So if you’re in the US, might as well let it do it’s thing.
Here’s what I do, and it’s simple. Fill a fabric pot of happy frog mixed with perlite and fox farm fruit and flower 4-9-3 per the instructions on the package for the size pot you use. Then top dress with the fruit and flower after about 6 weeks. Then once a month after that if necessary, and...
I like top dressing with fox farm fruit and flower 4-9-3. Easy and effective. And yes, it is better to water thoroughly and wait until dry before watering again.
Your plant looks terminally I’ll. I would consider starting over. I don’t think it will recover and be productive. As far as what happened, I couldn’t tell you.
