First grow, new box, looking for some advice!

It's touted as one of the better lights on GWE which is why I bought it: https://www.migrolight.com/product/migro-100/

First grow, new box, looking for some advice!

Yeah the stretch is a tougher one. It's currently at 10 LUX at the canopy -- should I be cranking that higher? The MIGRO 100 instructions said to put the light 35cm away with a 1/5th turn. That netted like 6k LUX, which was lower than most recommendations I had read, so I dialed it up a bit.

I guess the great question is - does this look like a calmag deficiency?

    Quick and Simple Watering Question

Hey guys! Thought I'd piggyback on the thread to not start yet another thread on the same subject. I'm rigging a computerized system to control watering using capacitive soil moisture sensors and peristaltic pumps. The moisture sensor gives me a reading between 0 and 100% - where do you...

Soilless, Rooting cubes & Coco coir/Vermiculite?

Is it necessary to root the seedling first in the cube, and then transplant it into the Coco/Vermiculite mix? Or, can I just stick the cube in the coco/vermiculite mix and call it a day? Thanks for your experience!

    Light type for seedlings?

I noticed that some folks having LED light strips around their plans, or even led tubes in the corner of their grow tents/enclosures. Is this a necessary approach to prevent light burn, or, can I start the grow with a regular LED light position high? Thank you!

Managing water pH only, is enough?

I'm on a quest to manage pH automatically, but most analog sensors only work well in a slurry of mud, or when the soil is very wet. If I only mange the water's pH, getting it to the level called for by the strain (e.g., 6.4). If I keep watering at 6.4, do I run the risk that my soil will...

Time to try! Need your advice!

I did have one question on how one would "manually" manage pH. For example, if a strain needs a pH of 6.4. Do you just measure the water's pH until it is at 6.4, and keep watering with that? Or does it "build up" in the soil, where it can get more acid than the water's level itself? Hope...

Time to try! Need your advice!

Cool! Two parts I'm not to sure of, are the best way to humidify, and wondering if the mylar would act as a vapor barrier. I saw this stuff too, which seems to be a better insulant...

Time to try! Need your advice!

Hey everyone! I've been searching awhile, trying to understand all aspects of growing in a cabinet! "What is the best solution for _____" <- lots of these on Google! Interestingly, a lot of the answers pointed to this forum! Thought I'd join and run what I'd cobbled together by some folks...
