Has anyone ran with Roots Organic Uprising dry amendments? The packaging says to use 1-2 tsp "per container" and not "per gallon". So I found myself transplanting some of my girls into 3 gallon pots and only mixing in 2 tsp of ferts. Seems like it's kind of a low amount for a 3 gallon pot...
Hey everyone! So, I've had a little bit of algae growing on the surface of the soil of my random plants in my grow room. I didn't really think much of it since it hasn't affected my cannabis plants yet. But today, I noticed that there is now algae growing in my cannabis plants soil now on the...
I have 3 successful grows in coco. The last 2 grows though I've been messing up, like the wrong light schedule, etc. The last 2 grows my plants leaves kept dying just like they are now. On those 3 successful grows, I had very few issues. Now it's like I can't grow anymore for no reason at all lol
When they were in cell pots, they were dry every night or every other night and needing water. Now that they're in 1 gallon pots, I'll water the pots about halfway through since the root ball is small still, and do that every 2-3 days maybe? for about 1-2 weeks, then I'll fully water the pots...
I use RO water with calmag. The pH is good.

A little more info: I'm growing in coco, and using roots organic dry amendments. I gave them 1/8 tsp dry amendment while they were in cell pots (around 27 days in), and they loved it. I repotted them in 1 gallon pots with 2 tsp ferts a few days ago. The soil is only dry on the surface, still...
So, for the past several grows, the lower leaves on my seedlings keep drying up, curling and dying. Pictured, these two girls are a little over a month old. The heat under my canopy is about 79, but sometimes rises to 81. my percentages have been a little low lately at 52%. I don't feel like 79...
Again, 7-10% difference is a big difference if 50-60% is the limit. Imagine if there was an important study, where they are collecting data on the percentage of people between the ages of 50 and 60 that have heart attacks. Now make that percentage not trackable. That's the situation this is. A...
I'm not sure if the buds would rot, probably at 80%, but at 7-10% higher, it could simply be the water vapors escaping. That's exactly why I am confused. If it's down to a science that 50-60% is the correct humidity for buds, then I would think that someone would know where the hygrometer should...
So I'm drying my buds upside-down in my grow room right now. I have my buds hanging in my tent, and the tent is wide open. Outside of my tent, the humidity is 50%, but inside the tent with the hygrometer hanging next to the buds, those read at 56-60%.
I want 60% humidity. So should I base it...
Great info, thanks guys! Does anyone have experience in using switch/reverse type foliar sprays? I have 3 options right now. Kill off 3 of my 5 plants, check for sacs/nanners every few days for the next 6+ weeks, or use optic foliar switch/transport to rescue them from their hermaphroditic...
Hehe. Oh no, they are totally pollen sacs. Been doing plenty of study and research on growing, and double checked to make sure they were what I thought they were. I was gonna take pics / video of it, but lost my camera card. But good call, I actually visited a post of someone else freaking out...
3 of my 5 plants hermied on me, all of them acapulco gold. This happened about a week or two after I flipped to flower. There's plenty of reasoning behind why they did, but that's not what I am here trying to figure out. I decided to use optic foliar switch to try to stop the problem (on top of...
It's an indoor grow. During early summer where I live, fruit flies are everywhere in my neighborhood. We have a couple of lakes nearby is why I'd guess there are so many of these little bastards.
But anyway, I don't want to make a water treatment for it. My water has so much crap I have to add...
I hear that lime easily throws off pH. I've seen other growers have pH lockout issues constantly when using it. Besides, I don't want a "you should have done this" type of thing when I can just as easily have a "just adjust your pH by ___ for 2 waterings" kind of thing ready in my back pocket.
So a couple of my plants are nitrogen deficient... like by quite a bit. They went through their dry amendments 2 weeks faster than I anticipated. Are there any good organic liquid fertilizers that offer readily available nutrients? Preferably without salt nutrients.
I was checking out the...
