its not a bad question at all.... look at your pc case... you have fans on the front that pull air in and fans on the back that pull air out... your grow room/lights are the same... pull cool air into the room, then pull the hot air out...

We keep the veg nutes for about two weeks into flowering... thats when they are in transition and are still growing before actually budding.

Sounds good. Lowes or Home depot sell sheets of reflective foam insulation for about $9 for a 8'x4' section. We are actually going to be using that for our attic grow... They differ in thickness and are very lightweight.

Yah the attic will be insulated and walled off. Also will have one of the window a/c units put in one of the walls to deal with the summer heat. Don't have much room to run air cooled lights (no room for the ducting) so we're having to pump in nice cold air to the entire room...
