When cloning is it better to snip off the unnecessary branches or to strip them off. Reason why I ask is I have heard that if you strip the branches off like string cheese and it exposes the inside of the stem that roots will be more likely to grow. Which is better?

I hooked them all up and only 1-2 work out of 6 CFL bulbs after a day or so. Why would my almost all of my bulbs stop working, they are very very dim when they stop working.

The room will be 5'x5'x6.5'. A grow tent.

I want to exhaust the room to keep it at the correct temperature range. I am not willing to shell out extra money for a portable AC and the extra wattage used by it. That will be much later down the road.

I would like to use co2 (tank and reg w/ solenoid) but I will be using a carbon filter too, exhausting outside to keep down smell. How can I use the carbon filter and use the co2?

I'm thinking about using a small 4.5' x 2' x 4' tall mother keeper tent with 4 T5 fluro's to put my mother plant in and start my clones in until they are about 2-3' tall. Then of course they'd be put into the 5'x5' tent that has a 600w HPS bulb. Would 2-3 feet be too big to vegg the plants...
