I am on my first aeroponic grow - I have read that when using a solution such as clearex that you should anywhere from 3-14 days before harvest. Can anyone with hydro/aero experience narrow that window down or give me a more accurate number? Thanks

I might be lucky living in a farming community - I also have a business on the same property, so my grow activities are well concealed. I have two other buildings that use electric, so my bill is 200-500 a month depending on time of year. I suspect you would have to draw attention to yourself...

Ph is to low - pretty sure potted plants need much higher, but I do hydro so not sure exactly what you should have - I would guess at least ph of 6.

I am on my first Aeroponic grow, and it has been going great, except in my third week of flowering my PH keeps dropping a lot - I have to raise it up 3-4 times a day to keep it in the 5.8-6 range. Any idea if this is normal? Can't find it mentioned in my books. If not normal, what would cause it?

even good heaters can be had for less then 20 bucks - dosn't seem worth it. Also you can get used chillers for under the $175 to make this thing, so it seems like to much work - probably not as efficient either. I got a brand new chiller for my 40gal res for 229 including shipping.

If your 300ppm is softened water, and you have good water pressure, you can probably get close to a 1:1 ratio. If your bedroom is on the same floor as the kitchen, get a faucet adapter and run it at the sink. The waste can go down the drain, then run the clean line to the bedroom. If on...

I think it was cause he was only using this for flowering - I agree with you though , I use a switchable ballast as well - makes thing a lot easier.
