spray the leaves with a mist spayer every now and then

you can spray paint the pot black and add a tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide to your solution.

Don't forget to always cut off any yellow leaves instead of letting them fall off. It attracts bugs and your plant will not waste energy on trying to repair the bad leaves.

I use tap water and it works fine. I let it sit out for two days with an air stone in it. Also my water dept don't add flouride to my water and when I fill up my buckets I use hot water to help speed up the chlorine evaporation. I guess it all depends on where you get your water. Here is a pic...
