About to go look into some new lights. I'm thinking about getting the LED's that I discussed yesterday with SPLFreak808 and mixing them in with my existing CFL's. Anyone else have any thoughts?

At the moment I'm not really prepared to hold clones. I haven't got a properly prepared place for them. Plus next time around I'm going to order some feminized genetics that I've been eyeing for a while.

I've been wondering about those. I honestly have like zero dollars in this grow. Everything I'm using came from around the house. But I seen some LED's that looked just like those at Walmart. They were like $17 each but the box said something like 1000+ lumen. So your saying I'd get a better...

Each of the 5 CFL's are 85W/825L and the closet is only 2'deep and 4'wide. Plus the two 1,200L fluorescent t12 tubes up top. I plan on getting at least 4 to 6 more CFLs in there in the next week or so.

By the way, what do you guys think of my setup? Do you think this is enough light for these two small plants? All together I should have about 6,525 lumens being produced in there. •5-825 lumen CFL's •2-1,200 lumen 4ft t12's I plan to also flower with CFL's too despite how badly I want a HPS...

Just did a small amount of pruning and am getting ready to take my clones. Ill post pictures of them all afterwards.

Honestly man, they look fine. As a matter of fact, for a first grow it looks like you're doing well. Also, naturally as the plants grow the foliage will slowly begin to die off. Mainly while flowering. It's because the plant is using energy stored in those leaves to produce new growth/buds

What ever you used try to stick with botanical only. It's less harsh on the plants

I never had a serious issue with them. Id see a few occasionally but I'd be sure to water properly and I used botanical insect repellent. Watering too much can increase risk of getting fungus and gnats greatly.
