Do you have to adjust the pH after adding their nutes blake?

It sounds like it would be something I'd like to add to the regiment. My only concerns are that I run a drip feed system with a 35 Gal res, I wonder if adding molasses to my res would clog my pumps and/or cause bacterial growth. I suppose I could always hand water some diluted molasses...
