I have an auto watering setup, but I've had to duct tape the hose to the water pump. This works, but then I'm unable to move the reservoir into the bathroom so I can fill it up, because I can't detach the hose. Any suggestions?

My wild guess is that either the battery from the unplugged timer had insufficient power, or the lines weren't filled up, and so didn't have pressure. Tried it again and it worked fine *throws hands in air* gotta find a way to delete this post lol, but thank you

Last time I set up my automatic sprayers, they were blasting all over the place. Now some of the hoses are dripping a bit, and some aren't getting any flow at all. I don't think I changed anything except maybe adding more water to the reservoir. I'm so confused lol.

Yeahhh, I was thinking I might need to switch to drippers. Or maybe I could use larger stakes, and tape them so they face downwards

They have great coverage, unfortunately a lot of that coverage goes to the floor lol. They come with little stakes, but I'm really struggling to get the angle right, and it's like they were designed to hang down from the ceiling. Plus the stakes are small, and not very secure.

The rainpoint would be shooting water directly into the soil, instead of being sprayed from a few inches above the soil. Is that worse? It also doesn't have an adjustable flow rate, and I imagine the pressure is pretty weak, versus the larger pump, with a 1/2 in tube dropping down into 1/4 inch...

I'm thinking of using Dr. Earth and promix, mainly due to the difference in price. Is there a difference in quality? I'd be using EWC, 444, and 284 from gaia green, or the home grown, premium gold, and flower girl dry nutrients from dr. earth.

Would you mix the ewc and gaia into the whole pot, or just the bottom third? And for flower it'd be half a cup of 444 and half a cup of 284 right?

I've ordered from them because they're usually the cheapest. They worked for me, but I could have gotten a rando strain or something and not known the difference.

I know this doesn't work in coco because of salt buildup, but would doing it in soil make any difference? I'm guessing no, but I have my fingers crossed lol

Oh wow, that is WAY cheaper. What kind would I want for a just add water setup? I was looking into the Nature's stuff because it seemed like it would cost a fortune to buy everything I needed to make my own supersoil

I was planning on mixing the nature's into the bottom third, with the OF up top to handle the earlier growth, though I am worried it might be a bit hot, so I'll probably just use neutral potting soil in solo cups to start off the seeds.

Looking to just add water, probably in 5 gallon fabric pots, possibly 3 gallon.

How often, and how thoroughly should I water? I'm used to letting it dry out every 2 or 3 days, but I heard the microbes need to stay moist. Would that rule out using the fabric pots that I have? I was hoping to use 3 gallon, but I have some 5 gallon that I could use instead. I'll be using it...
