10 Weeks into First Grow. Looking for feedback.

Hey guys,
So as the title states, this is my first grow. I found the seeds in a bag a weed from my dealer,decided hell with it, germinated them,, threw them in solo cups in miracle grow and went with it. Being the research junkie I am, bolted straight to youtube and watched countless hours of "how to grow weed" videos, learning everything I've done so far was wrong.

Fast forward to week 10, I've got 3 ladies in 5 gallon cloth bags. They are outside all day in the beautiful Vermont weather, they're in Coast of Maine Bar Harbor soil, they get all the rain water they can take, and get watered twice a week, heavy feeding of Fox Farms and a cal mag once a week. I trim no more than 5 leaves a day.

Side note: this being my first grow, and after researching topping, i tried 3 separate methods, 1 method per plant. The first one was topped at the 3rd node. The second one was topped at the second node, and the third was topped at the second node and then again on the second node after the split. There are 2 pics a piece, a side and top view.

EDIT: Cola count
Plant 1: 7
Plant 2: 6
Plant 3: 10

Nice but small for 10weeks.

If your getting seeds in a bag of weed from your dealer maybe you should get a new dealer

Not bad for first grow, as said they're kinda small for age but they look healthy thats key.
if you trained your plants more your cola count would improve

You should have some massive plants at the end with the longer daylight hours up there in my home state (Northfield). One thing I’m gonna try is using the tomato cages upside down (wider end at the bottom), zip tied to the edges of a milk carton in which a 4 gallon cloth bag sits. Gives ya an additional 10 inches or so of tomato cage height (vs driving the narrow end into the soil), and a more stable vertical support. I’ll set this up today and post a photo. with the smaller end up in the air you can also carefully bend outward the free ends of the top legs of the cage. Hope your grow goes well!

Thanks for the responses everyone! I've really enjoyed the experience of growing. This is definitely going to become a lifetime hobby.

Admittedly these plants had a hard early life being over watered, nute burn from the nitrogen in the miracle grow, and un-ph'd water. So im not surprised to hear they are small, but im glad they look healthy.

Again any tips/tricks/pointers are greatly appreciated.
