UPDATE DAY 5 Veg

Things are really progressing very fast. It's only been 9 days since this girl cracked from seed and she's already on her second left set which is standing straight up towards the light

. She's loving the 100% perlite and CYCO nutes. Here's pix of her

Id prolly say about 24in maybe a lil more not too much tho. I'm having a slight ph issue a lil nothing bad but after bout 3 day ph is rising more than where I would like it to be but I'm not gonna use to much adjusters. This is a learning thing for me big time as I've never done this but imma get it dialed in. It can't be two bad cus the plant is looking good. Just gonna ride it out till flush time

Looking great man

What strength nutes are you using? I usually start with half strength if using cyco as they tend to be a little strong and im seeing a bit of nute burn on the tips...to get your pH back i check just add some fresh water, i do this on about the 4th or 5th day and mine seem to like it

Whew man she is so big compared to mine. I hope mine keeps up as long as she can!

Im using T5's to veg and LED to flower cant wait to compare!

Thx eastcoast I'm using a very very weak strength of nutes prolly about 1/8 strength. She's a seedling and and even tho she's growing fast I didn't want to burn her up not just yet

but thx eastcoast for the tip for ph imma def so that and see how she responds. It's nothin way overboard just don't want to be using a lot of ph down to keep it on the range. Peace

Shes looking might good and healthy right now. Keep up the good work she's not too far behind so I don't think she will leave her in the dust lol but imma def sub up for the ride as I want to compare too. Hoping she turns out nice we shall see

Damn ! I see crystals already on her! Not to many seedlings do that, mine sure don't at the moment and the are a little ahead of yours. I think you found yourself a keeper.

Mine just sprouted about 5 days ago and I've been keeping one 23w 6500k over it only about 2-3 inches. The light is in a dome type bannister you would use for reptiles to try and focus the light on her. Is my light too close you think? I'm working on the closet....waiting for Mylar to get here. Been trying to do research on how many lights I should use overall....thanks for any input. Yours is gorgeous.

I swear I thought I was tripping when I seen it. The sad part about it is I wont be able to keep her :sad:

don't have anyroom for a mother

this is why I get fem seeds cus I can't clone. I started a new job so maybe I could get a small tent to keep a few moms we will see things been tight

Thx man she's tryna get there long way to go. It takes a while grown from seed but one she gets the XL treatment she'll grow like crazy. Got a few weeks till that cus she still hasn't really sprouted legs but you have that light perfect on it. As close as you can get it without it touching is the best for seedlings when using fluoro lights. How big is your closet. I have one light in mines most people who use closets only have one cus of size and space and temp/air issues but you def need to exhaust the closet of the heat or nothing will grow in there. Ok man cool, she'll bounce back anyway, it isnt serious

Mate i had all sorts of issues with swinging pH in mine until i started adding fresh un pH'd water in mid week, then i found it to stabilise. I also found having another pump continually moving the nutes round in the res helped to stabilise it too

going well though man, cant wait to see this beast lol

Mines also just sprouted... out of 20 bag seeds, only 3 germinated, and 2 of them died. crap. but good news is at 2 days old she(hopefully) is about an inch and a half tall, and is just starting to get its second set of leaves.
