i wanted to join but never grew in party cup .so i went to the link provided on page one. read his description of mystery meat and order some. gone see what i get from kepster. just might grow in the backround to see if i can keep it alive in the cup. dont want to disrepect the party cup comp.

So am I! I can’t wait! I already have the cup that won’t hold anything holding everything I want. It will be a few more days of cycling soil and seeing what sits best in this tiny cup.

I love the back story! If the genes turn out to be half as good and mixed as I expect @kepster will be my only seed supplier. I love a mix bag of genetically primo awesomeness. I worked with a few guys in the last ten years that created some of the nicest and healthiest Amazon swords and red cabomba (they were my favourite aquatic plants). I hope to do the same with Cannabis.

I rebuilt the birdcage/jellyfish light tonight now that I have the correct plugs that fit my strips. Before, I had to solder the wires onto the tiny contacts of the strips and they kept breaking off. Now it should be more reliable than before. Still a ghetto rigged contraption built from a tomato cage, strips, and plant ties, but it grows big! This time building it, I used only 4 strips whereas before there were 6 strips. It was a pain to water the plant last competition with that many strips.
Seeing as how I am now signed up for 2 competitions at the same time, it may be necessary to build another birdcage if I can figure out where to put the damn thing. Either that or use my Mystery Meat plant in both contests... Hmmmm.

So I just looked up Kepster on strainly. Can we expect the Mystery Meat to be seeds from the other 3 strains he has listed, or are these from the parents of those strains, or should we expect them to be something completely unrelated?

I would "expect them to be something completely unrelated" But who knows? Sounds like "Over the years I’ve watched seeds fall and collect on the floor of my drying room as I’ve attempted to fine tune the strains I’ve been working on" Leads me to think it could be anything.
Most fine tuning involves a landrace or two though - again, who knows

I've been keeping a special strain name in my hip pocket just in case the chance to use it arises. This may be the time to use it -- if my plant rocks!
