Bummer!! Yeah I'd say even the coco plugs are better than the peat.

I got 250 out of 450. Not bad but not good. I learnt along the way.
Here are some tips. Dont leave your heating mat on the whole time unless it comes with a thermostat. Im just gonna use a timer. 30on 15 off. Depends where they are tho. I dont wet the leafs at all. I take the dome off once every two days and spray the inside of it. DONT open the the flaps untill they root.
I had better luck with not slicing the stem. just a 45 cut.
Make sure you sqeeze the water out of the pucks before pinching. Dont water them to much. just get the bottom of the pucks wet. They will soak it up.
