so.. back from vacation. 5 days already, switched between jobs, so things are intensive, less time for documentation plant grew alright. perhaps even too much.. this time i could not call her lanky... stems are thick and strong and foliage well maintained.. I believe potassium silicate has some part in this, but also defoiled and buried stem, and because I went for 4 mains, not for 18-22 like in my previous C99 grow.
As you can see in a picture I got another lamp. This one is 70W CMH, but I couldn't handle more than this in that room. very nicely adding light where it was missing most.
shoots started to pack budsites. Stems look prepared for upcoming weight.
Those are clones from the same batch. one had more problems rooting than the other, then went overwatering etc. The difference is amazing.
also two of the fem>male clones started showing male parts, bananas will be popping very soon. and then collecting pollen and making some fem seeds! yeah BABY!
that sodium thiosulphate+silver nitrate(STS) spray method is a cheap reliable way to go. Hopefully I won't screw up with the pollen and will successfully pollinate fem clones.
the only problem i'm having now, i have already reached my max lamp height.. it's going to be a challenge to maintain the height.. I vegged her a week too long(5 weeks).
Pics were made 4days ago. Beast is getting more hairy every day. Love it.
The funny part is that this grow I am using 3 times less nutes than I used to give my plants. Also leached 2 times. At this point I was already giving like 2-3ml/L and now not even one mil. of grow food. that phrase that less is more is gold.
We are not here to push the plants to grow. We are here to provide perfect conditions so the plant could thrive.
papanikolau by any chance you run a journal? would love to check it out
Cheers guys.
