I got pretty lucky, the bud still looks amazing, just curled up the upper leaves a bit. As far as I can tell there is zero bleaching of the budsHey KB. Glad the vacation didn't kill you and you got some herb out of it, nice.
Did the light bleach any of the buds, or just heat stress the leaves?
The little girls look great, little balls of fury.
Thanks for the kind words & suggestion kho!kho20 said:man love the mini fridge and the plants the only thing id add would make a cool tube for the light and then heat is no problem man
KB.... man.... I have no idea how I missed the harvest. Just saw it. Bro, what a nice haul for the time, space, and energy used. Excellent work.
You said:
"why grow tall plants if only the top 6-10" gets good light"
and I totally agree with you... that's why I'm going vertical for my next grow. I'm really excited to see how it works out.
Great trimming you guys did. Your wife did an excellent job... sorry, but I like hers better. My wife helps too. We are lucky men.
About you going to icmag, we're sorry to see you go, but it's cool your friends are there. It's fun to grow with friends. Just promise you will come back and check on us every once in a while.
Heya Joan1st of I'd just like to say, Phenomenal Grow Kolorblind! The ladies look absolutely delicious!
I just finished reading your thread. I'm getting ready for my 1st grow with a AK47xLowryder and couldn't help but notice the quality of your LRs and was hoping to produce something similar myself.
That being said, I was wondering what soil/nuts you used for your LRs. If i read it correct, you used
Sunshine Mix (75%) is that Sun Grow: Sunshine Mix? and what #? there seems to be 1-2-3-4 dif mix types of the Sunshine Mix
Perlite (20%) I'm assuming scotts will do just fine..
Bone meal (5%) is that easy to come by at a gardening store?
And than a Tbsp of Molasses every other watering day
It seems like a pretty simple soil/nut set up. I am a first time grower and was hoping to start off on the right foot without getting too crazy with nuts and grow-micro-bloom ect. I'm actually not even sure if LRs are suppose use nuts like that... idk
But great grow! def an inspiration to me.. hope to get my own up and growing within a few weeks here after a few more purchases of the soil/nuts
Hope to hear back from ya

Just out of curiosity, in those first pics, how were you flowering and having ll your seedlings in there? 12/12 from seed?
Correct. Thanks for stepping in Crazyhe is growing anauto flower strain so he is using 18-6 of 20-4 light schedule . youuse the same lighting though out the whole grow doesn't matter like a normal plant
Thanks bro!!damn man that looks good
I didnt scrape any paint off. i scrapped out all the foam to reveal an unpainted surface and I applied a couple layers of flat white automotive paint. Even 2 layers didnt look good but it apparently reflected just finewhy did you scrape offf the white enamel paint? its an exxelent relfector like aluminum foil.....? just wonderin
Thanks man, yes it is very tasty! Especially after a week or more curing in a jar! The purple, however, is mainly caused from heat stress. And if it gets too hot it will burn like my most recent Diesel Ryder SOG did. Every top was dark purple then one day I noticed a lot of the leaves and even a little bud was starting to get burned. So make sure you dont get it too close to your lights and you should be fine. I hear very low temps can have the same purple or pink discoloring effects, but can hurt your plant if you aren't careful.that diesel ryder looks tasty. i hope mine turn pink/purple for a lil bag appeal
