Week 2 Day 4; (78F Ph5.8 Humidity 63%)

This is were I start to make my mistake. I asssume that the ph is good. After all I mixed it and let it sit for 3 days under the sink and checked it again before I filled the AG. It was all good. But I didn't really check it this day.

Sprout looks good today I gave her the folio feed this morning, and will spray with rain water through out the day from time to time. She seems to really like that a lot. I Will stop the folio feeding when she starts showing sings of flowering. It is organic but I still don't want to smoke it.

I have also noticed that some of the yellowing is starting to go back to green. I think she likes the light.

Ok. Now I feel really dumb. I still didn't check the ph. She looks good. So things must be right. What a dumb ass!!!:cry::cry::cry:

Looking good. But I do notice that the leaves are starting to lay right on top of each other. I am starting to wounder if I should bring the light up. I know it's going to be short and fat. But with her second set of five leaves. Now half the size of the first set She is only 1.75". I'm think I may need to stretch her a little

HOLY CRAP.

Got up this morning 2 hours early feeling like something was wrong. So I look in on sprout. Shit she looks like crap all droopy and the green I gained back is starting to fade again. Shit hurry up and check the ph. Shit I got to pee. Shit check ph first(At this point I am in full panic mode). HELP SOMEBODY CALL 911 MY SHIT IS ALL MESSED UP AND I GOT TO PEE. OK so I take care of my bio needs and start to work the problem. Ph is testing at 6.6 + . That's not good. I add 2 drops of ph down to each side of the AG through the holes in the top and wait 15min. Still high. I repeat. Ten total drops later and I am back to 5.8

I also gave her a light folio feed, and have been keeping the leaves wet with rain water all day.

I am happy to report that she is snapping back real well. Her leaves have perked up nicely, and she looks happy again.

I also think my BP is back to normal

So now that we have diverted this near catastrophe. I smoked a big fat one for a wake and bake. Got a cup of joe, and brought you all up to date.

Yeah I thought you might like that. I think I finely got my head out of my butt and things are good now.

Hey SICC what do you think about stretching this thing. Should I try, or should I just let her be. There is 4" between AG hood and top of plant and 5" from UFO to plant. I also have a mossy 4" fan on the top of the reservoir blowing air over the top of the plant.

I was wondering if I have to much light will it stunt the growth. The thing is less than 2 inches and has 2 full sets of 5 leaves. should it be taller. If so should I raise the light up and try to make it reach for it.

Sprout looks great today. Did a folio feed this morning. Trying to trigger flowering early didn't seem to work. But I would think she should show soon anyway. I'm getting a lot of new growth on the inside under the leaves. Looks like she might start branching off. Looks like new nodes. This is so exciting.

I am also doing a grow using the aerogarden (first grow ever), and was wondering what kind of PH kit you went with.

Are the ones I see in the fish store the same as the ones Im seeing in hydro online stores?

Yeah straight from the fish store full kit ph up, ph down, and test solution.

Dam I got balls. Ok so Sprout is a male. That's got me pretty bummed.

We have 2 new sproust of the blue streak started in a friends AG. I think I will try to save the pollen, and hope he gets two females. We are running out of beans.

Also I'm sick of growing males. So I put 2 lowryder2 seeds in my AG in the back. We think there fem seeds.

If anybody knows how to save pollen. I need help with that please. I think I need to grow it out a little

Hey guys, Just a quick update I have been poping balls into a little jar and I'm about 50/50. Half the ones I do are just not ready and half are. So I got a nice little bit in the jar so far. But I got lot's of balls. So I'll let him go for a little bit longer, and get a bunch more.

The LR2 I put in all died. I think it may have been because I had some nuts in there still. So 2 more went in. 1 went in 2 days ago, and it took off like a race horse, and I"m putting 1 in now. Hope get a lady so I can make me some seeds.

BALL'S BALL'S BALL'S LOL I'm sick of ball's so I choped down the lil feler. I was getting really good at knowing when to pick them at the end there. Should that scare me? lol. Anyway I have little jar with lots of pollen in it. Life is a wonder.

I also have 2 LR2 coming up one at 1week and one at 4days (I think its time to change the name of this thread LOL. I do have a friend with 2 blue streaks at week 3 and looking good. If he gets a lady we will have BS been's again ). So we will call it.

So the 2 little-ones are looking real good. We did a full water change. We are using straight ph corrected rain water.

I am taking the approach that lesser is better, and going with no nuts. I want to see if I can tell when they need them by the sprout leaves.

I'm hoping to get a lady out the LR2's. So I can pollinate with the BS pollen, and try for a LR2 + BS seeds. I think that will work. We are going to try. Should be fun.

Thx man me to. I don't know how stable the seeds will be. I don't know how that works yet. If I cross like that(BS male with LR2 female) Will I get a mix of the 2 or will some look like the male and some like the female. These are the things I dont know yet. But I'm having fun doing it so here we go.

Ok. If your looking at this and you see that the dates don't jive. I have adjusted. I had 2 plants going at 2 different start dates so I had split the difference. One died so we are back to the real start date of this plant. I am also playing catch up. To bring you all up to date.

I think there was a problem with the AG sponge I had 2 plants do the same thing in that sponge. They grow like mad for 2 days then die. So we have 1 good looking LR2, with a good looking set of one leaves.

I placed the UFO right over the plant today and, removed the AG hood. It's about 3" above the plant with a 4" mossy fan up against it. That keeps it nice and cool. So I don't think that heat will be a problem.

Yikes. I need help. I woke up this morning and the little set of one leaves have curled down. The tips. They are pointing straight down. They are still green. Up till this point. She has had no nutrients. I am hoping its just the sign I was looking for that she needs nuts. I am adding a teaspoon of Fox Farm nuts, and see what happens. I will slowly increase this over the next 5 days till we get to 1 tablespoon in there. God I hope I'm right I don't want to screw this up. Let me know what you guys think when ya can, and thanks again for all the help.
