1st AeroGarden Grow

Just wanted to drop a line, plants looking smokalicious. Great journal by the way just finished reading it. Keep up the good work and keep the updates coming since i don't make it over there very much. Peace

Alright purp, followed your advice, checked out the chart. I cleaned out my res like 30 minutes ago, added filtered, Ph'd water and added 1 tsp of each. Appreciate the help man, much love.

Hey purpdaddy, I broke down and bought the Dual Spectrum Bubbleponics Complete Kit, do you have any suggestions or helpful ideas? Is this a better choice than an Aerogarden?
 
Oh yeah dude a bigger setup will always grow bigger plants!!all that room and the new lights will be 10x better than the aero hood! But the aero is still the shit too!

Thanks winkdogg420, I was convinced I was going to get the aero but the bubbleponics system won me over. I like the size and the fact that I can grwo more without my root systems tangling up. I didnt think I could grow more than two full sized plant in the aero, but then again maybe I could have......:weed:

Ok,you gonna be growing in a bigger system thus you will be growing bigger plants,so that mean more,stronger light.Ive grown with cfls and you need alot of them to get what u want,i dont know about yall but we got stiff penalties for this shit so we wanna get ALL we can,feel me?
The AG is a GREAT learning utensil,that what i suggest everyopne start off with to learn the "ropes" and how hydro grows.I am too busy and lazy to build a box something similar to th BP setup but with waaaay more bubbbles, but for now i cranked my AG back up but i ordered a 400w hid setup cause i dont like growin with too many cfls,my choice is hid lighting,so im takin the AG hood off and hangin the HIds above.thid kit was 339.00.itll be in a,in a few days,but im still waitin on my beans to germ.PeaCe

Ok, so I want to know a little more about topping and pruning in a more personalized manner. I have read the guides on how to do this, but I'm still not quite getting it. I don't know where to actually start topping and pruning... any help?
 
cuts from the top make more but smaller buds. cutting from the bottom concentrates the energy to the main center cola... topping it just that cutting the center"top" to produce more smaller tops there is a science to it ..like if you top above the 3rd node you get 4 tops or if you cut above the 4th node you get 2 tops (just an example)...those are not exact but that info is here somewhere...
