I'm curious what your plan is to control odor while flowering? I too live on the East Coast of Florida....That smell will get you busted chic :bigjoint:
+1 on that. I'm a Floridian as well and although the climate can grow some great plants I'd rather keep it indoors and have a Charlie Brown bush than catch a felony.
Central and South Florida have massive funding for drug task forces and they will arrest anyone, regardless of how innocuous the grow is to keep their numbers up.

Yeah you're definitely right. I just have a really limited area to work with and this is the first time.I've done this I didn't have a chance to really think.about every aspect.
Just be aware. The main area of concern should ALWAYS be stealth when growing illegally...

Looking good OP. Always an experience when you first start.

I can't stress enough to put those inside especially during flowering. You should ebay search carbon filter and make a grow box of some sort. You guys down in that region have way too many task force guys that need to produce numbers. They will jail you just for those as they are now.

I grow indoors...and I certainly don't have Charlie Brown bushes ;)
I really would love to put one in the ground though :bigjoint:

True..thanks for the advice. I guess I never thought twice about it because this is such a lax area where people just smoke right.in their front porch and cops tend to look the other way unless you're a big time guy. For example, I've been pulled over with some really nice dro and they just kept it and told me to get lost. They're pretty corrupt. But regardless, I will start being more careful because I should.

Just get some basil and lavender for smell and put up so e tomatoes and eggplant they grow big as well so could help blend your plants in. Look into super cropping and LST to keep the plants size in check and I would bother defoliating the bushier the more unnoticeable it will become. But diff grow a few accompanying plants east or west coast it's illegal there and FL cops would LOVE to fuck with "drug addicts"

Get creative it's fun to garden all types of plants (perhaps look into composting and organic living soil and you won't even need to use nuits)

Thanks. I've grown basil before in a greenhouse and I was thinking about planting some outside around the porch to help mask the smell. Guess I better get on that if I plan to flower soon..

you dont have any shrubs you can hide them behind ? or maybe a lawn chair or something to camo it up a bit

Haha well there.are pretty dense 6ft shrubs growing around most of the perimeter of the porch. When I bring them into the yard I try to put them in the tall grass and weeds. They are in dark green and black pots so they blend pretty well.

And the porch has windows with like tinted screen on them.but I leave them down halfway so sun can come in. So basically you would have to.be really tall or have a ladder so see the plants while they're inside

i would find a spot in the shrubs to hide them .... and just not do anything to obvious with them
like nonchalantly lean over the rail and pour some water on them from time to time

and they are going to reek .... what kind of bud did the seed's come from ?
mexican ? like schwag ? if its mexican , schwag, reggie , odds are its probably a skunk of some sort and can be smelled a mile away dam near in flower

mint plants are easy to grow , chocolate mint is my favorite i have 2 going they grow themselves
sweet basil , pineapple sage all fairly easy to grow and smell nice
but probably still wont cover the scent

The porch can be pretty much sealed when the door and windows are closed. Do you really think that much odor can escape? Also only have 6 plants, possibly only a few will even be female
lol they stink pretty bad ... well good if your a pot head but bad to everyone else
