1st Grow! Barney's Vanilla Kush

7 Weeks

Tallest is 14.5" tall now. Gave them some open sesame last week, and will do that again this week. I am going to wait to flower for at least 1 more week or until they are 2' tall. I would like to wait longer and let them get bigger but I am worried because this is my first grow and my ceilings are only 7' tall and I dont want them to get out of control big. My wife has been getting on me about the smell (smells like a dispensary in here haha) so I ordered a 6" x 24" Rhino filter rated for 550cfm and a 6" Tjernlund 530cfm inline duct fan. I will post pictures when I get it and install it. I am also going to be ordering my hps light this friday when I get paid. I think I have finally made up my mind and will be getting a Lumatek or Quantum 1000w ballast, 6" vented hood, and bulb. How are my babies lookin?

for 7 weeks i think they should be a fair bit bigger than they are but once you add your new light they should take off.
Ive just finish a V K and this was mine at 7 weeks , although i did alot of LST with it.
BTW its a lovely smoke you'll love it

Looking good. I'm on my second grow of Vanilla Kush right now some sweet smoke I'l tell ya. BUt why veg so lonf I only vegged for 5 weeks and flowered for 10.
 
There are 2 reasons why I have waited so long.
1. Waiting for them to get 2' tall.
2. Can't order my digi ballast, hood, and bulb till this friday.
So, if all goes well I should have them in flowering next week sometime.
 
Got my carbon filter today. Went with a Rhino Filter that is 6" x 24". Damn this thing is BIG! I am glad I went with Rhino, I have heard great things and I can't afford to have my house smelling like it has been.

Week 8 or 1st Day of Flower!

Been working hard to get this part of the room ready. Just put them in there now, let me know what you think!

Thanks! This is my first grow so I am really excited. Don't know how I am going to wait a couple more months
 
I just took some clones, first time doing that as well. We will see how they go. They completely wilted and were flat against the bottom of the try after the first night and I thought they were dead. Slowly bringing them back to life, but the jury is still out if they can pull through and take root or not. Trial by error sucks!
 
Week 9 (2nd Week of Flower)

I topped them last week, think they are healing up nicely. Haven't grown too much height in the past week. The leaves on top are curling down a bit and some of the leaves on top are looking crispy and harder, as well as dark green. I moved the light up a tad because I thought that it may have been getting too hot near the top. The air in the room has been at 70 though, is this too cold? What do you guys think those upper leaves curling down could be?
