That's a nice looking sativa you have there.
She's looking pretty!
When you post pictures, would you mind telling us the height? By what I have read, sativas stretch a lot during flowering - more so than indicas. Super exciting! It's been awhile since I read the whole thread, so I don't remember if you said if you switched from the daylight (6500k) to the 2700k bulbs yet? If not, you should most definitely switch them all over. Also, did you decide to go the molasses route?

thaanks! i think these plants have a mix of sativa and indica genetics...at first i was sure they were all indica due to the leaf shape and how short and fat they were, but now im pretty sure theyve got indica and sativa genes.
as for heights right now they are all between approx 12-14 inches. growing taller very fast though! you can really see the main colas shooting up..especially in the plant i took the most recent pics of
ive been adding more and more 2700 K (red spectrum) lights whenever i have the money to go get more lamps/bulbs. definitely not adding any more natural daylight as this point..so right now id say its about 70/30 red/blue. and by the end of flowering it should be about 90/10.
ive been thinking of trying molasses..i think ill try it on 1 or 2 of the plants once they have a few weeks left til harvest
dunkin..thanks alot. ive got about 250 watts on each level (2 plants on each level), approx 16 000 lumens shining on each level. cool man good luck to you with your grow..i was lucky enuf to know the sex of my plants more than a week be4 flowering. im pretty sure ive got 1 male now though..going to kill him off soon. leave me with 3 healthy females though so im happy! def going to grow 2 shorties on 1 level and 1 fatty on the other.

i opened the closet though a minute ago and almost had a heart attack..it looks like my plants are having problems all of a sudden. maybe there are bugs in there that are eating them? i dont see any bugs though..i saw a single little flying insect on one of the leaves the other day but if i inspect the plants i really cant see any bugs..i dont know whats going on but this is bad news! here are pics from a few mins ago

Whats up b? I still have a seat here? Well, I would say nute burn or maybe some sort of bug. Have you done a flush recently? Leaning much closer to the nute burn idea though. Hey guy. You can have "seats" in journals? How does that all work? Yeah unknown problems are frigging scary..if you look up close at these leaves it really does appear to be some sort of bug munching down on the leaves..im 99% sure of it. But I learned that I didn't perform a proper flush last time, so I flushed them last night and from now on I'm only going to water with the ferts every 2nd or 3rd watering..

It just means I want you to check it out, that's all. No real saving seats involved. You could pick up some organic bug spray or neem oil to be safe. How often were you feeding before? Thanks for the luck, I need it.

i have these 400Watt metal halide and hps bulbs..i want to use em so bad i think the plants would love it..itd probly result in some mad bud. im gunna buy a ballast as soon as i can in may once i make enough money at work since schools over at the end of april

you shouldve seen parliament hill today..i live in Ottawa, Canada's capital..so there were like 1000's of people all smoking weed right in from of the government buildings..we were surrounded by hundreds of cops but all they could do was watch. it was great to see

Good to hear your plants are recovering. Happy 420 to you as well! I wish it was like that here. Cops just sittin back getting high from the second hand smoke. That would be dope. It ain't quite like that in my neck of the woods. But yeah, stop by sometime. It should start going into flower withi the next couple weeks. Took my first clones today. Im hoping they survive. heyy..hasnt been a scoop for a while eh! im going to take pics really soon and give a full update..i dont really have any great ones from flowering yet and its been over 3 weeks since i started 12/12. i bought a metal halide/hps ballast on ebay the other day and it should get to me in a few days..meaning for the last half of flowering ill have it. should really up my bud production.
anyways, yeah..new pics soon! ive been living out at a buddy's place just outside the city and leaving my timer on/coming back to water every day or so. so me and the green ones havent spent alot of quality time together of late

Oook! So it has been way too long since I've taken pics of the plants..but at least you get to see a big jump in the bud development from last time. They're looking pretty good. As you can see some of the leaves i trimmed and cut pieces off of because they really did look like they'd been munched on by some sort of bug. The plants look pretty healthy again now though, although I'd like it if they were bigger..but I can't expect much more with CFL's. Hopefully once I get my ballast in a few days and get the HPS bulb plugged in their growth will take off and I'll be able to get at least an ounce average off each one..that'd be nice. Anyways, whatdyou think?
