Hi, I've been growing for 10 years, this is my first journal.
For this run I have 18 Francos Lemon Cheese (greenhouse seeds), 12 gorilla zkittles(barneys) 3 Larry OG(Cali Connect) and 3 Maltease(g13 labs). To start the seeds I put them in the 1.5 inch rockwool cubes under t5 in a small tent. Out of 50 seeds 48 popped and of those candidates I chose 36. This journal starts after transplanting into 1 gallon rootmaker pots filled with Botainicare Airation coco coir. For the veg phase I run GH flora base, as I'm on a well I have plenty of calcium, around 600ppm at the tap. After these babies are transplanted into #7 smart pots and transferred to the bud room in a month or so, I will switch to an RO water supply and run the full House & Garden line along with Cal/mag.
The one picture is from my bud room just to show where they are going

These are all new strains for me, I run all new genetics every run, I harvest every 8-10 weeks, while vegging I have the other room for blooming.
I too love those gavitas, I'm slowly replacing all my HPS lights in the bloom room with them. I had 18 HPS now i have 12 HPS and 4 Gavitas. With my setup I was running 3 HPS over an 8 footx24" tray, so I can run 2 gavitas over the same area and get better coverage and better yields.
My bloom room now has 12 holy punch, 6 white widow, 6 chocolate mint og, 6 peyote cookies, and then 6 more of a mix of random seeds.
For trimming I use a Twister T4, i have a wet and dry tumbler so I'll use either of them depending on the bud, though i do some hand trimming as well

Awesome! Favorite strains to run? Or strains that you would like to run again

Thanks!
I have run the Barneys peyote cookies and chocolate mint og(breeder unknown) once before, though outdoors, and they turned out great. I did GHS white widow several years ago and loved it though this time around the plants seem different, more sativa, long and leggy long spacing between bud sites. Guess just a different pheno idk.
My last run I had 3 varieties from Cali Connect, they all were amazing. One big issue I had with Cali Connect though was that only about 25% of the seeds popped, which is unfortunate cuz they are very expensive and I had to purchase clones to fill the room. Idk what the issue was with those seeds, all the Larry OG seeds popped this time around so maybe it was just a bad run, either way I wouldnt hesitate to give them another try because the end product was amazing

So here is my bloom room taken just a few minutes ago. This is the back part of my garage, I built a floor and fully insulated it, it's around 300sqft. Power is supplied by a dedicated 100amp subpanel. Cooling provided by a mr.cool DIY3 ton mini split, I run 3 dehumidifiers and yes, I do dump the condensate into my nutrient reservoirs which provides maybe 25% of my watering needs, never ran into any problems and the tds on it is less than the RO output. I'm running a 4 burner autopilot CO2 generator and set it for 1500ppm.

Thread update. All the girls are looking good, they have been transplanted into #7 smart pots filled with Dakine Coco, which was on closeout for just 7 bucks per 1.5 cubic foot bag. Normally its 20 a bag and I needed 22 bags so that's a big saving!!!!
Anyway I put them all into the bedroom. I sprayed them with Regalia and anticipate flipping to 12/12 in 10 days or so. In the one row the lights are off because I am switching to Fluence Spydr 2i

Gave the ladies a spray of Eagle 20 two days ago and today I flipped the lights 12/12.
I'm giving them a good pruining right now and taking a break. This is the 2nd pruning they have gotten in the last 2 weeks. Going into 12/12, the girls on the outer rows are a bit taller than I like. This is because the Francos Lemon Cheese in the center row is not on track. So far I dont like this plant at all; it doesnt want to grow up, it wants to grow laterally into a bush. I've been having to prune out the laterals almost nightly to get it growing vertically. It's now tall enough for the netting. Since the other plants will likely stretch into the sodium lights I may have to purchase some more gavitas or fluence LEDs to give them more headroom. I'm running 6 of them now along with 9 HPS.

About 14 days into flower now. Notice the plants under the HIDs are much more stretched out compared to the LED. Many are growing into the lights. I had a slight note burn on the center row, probably from too much cal/mag, though the PPM was only 1200. House and garden products tend to be pretty hot and ive burned them before at 1100ppm. They are pretty green at 900. I cant imagine using the products at the reccomended dosage, i usually do 2/3

Update, heading into week 4 of flower.
1st row is gorilla zkittles, you can really see the difference between the fluence LED vs the HPS (hortilux). Plants are less stretched, bushier, bigger buds. The second row is the Franco Lemon Cheese. They look pretty good but im a little dissapointed that i hadnt read they take 11 weeks, so they will probably come down early as im on a schedule. The 3rd row is a big dissapointment. It is Larry OG and they stretched crazy. Some of the buds are hitting the 8 foot cieling. Keep in mind all these plants went into bud around 2.5 feet tall.
I also started the next batch, this time around i have ak47, grape kush, and gorilla glue.
Also i noticed some thrips or aphids in the budroom on a few plants. I blasted them with might wash today and in a couple days ill hit them with some neem or insecticdal soap.
