1st grow, nervous about harvest

As the title says I am not real sure about sure harvesting. I was going to do it today but I swear it swelled overnight and now I have to wait until Sunday. (working doubles till then)
Now I've grabbed a 60x-100x portable microscope and have been crawling all over my plant watching as these little glass mushrooms fill, and I've spotted a few here and there turning amber. A few questions... How much longer can I wait before it becomes sleeping meds? 35 (F) degrees tomorrow night is still okay? How does it look yield wise? I plucked some upper fan leaves because I was about to cut it down will that have any negative impacts since I can't get to it for a few more days? Any feedback would be great, thanks.

Agreed, you still have lots of white pistils standing. You will see amber trichomes on the sugar leaves so make sure you're checking the calyx.

2-3 more weeks every day feels like forever . I may have been looking at sugar leaves, didn't want to damage anything. Kinda pissed I removed so many fan leaves if I am going to let this thing keep going.
Will post updates I am childlike with excitement never knew it was so easy to grow. I found this seed in a dusty baby food jar hidden above the pantry at my mothers house.
