1st Time Grower, and it's been a learning experience for sure. Here's what I'm cultivating (sorry if I don't know all the lingo yet, so say something incorrectly)
Strain: Jack Herer Auto-Fem (sativa base I believe)
Lighting schedule: 12/12 from seed
Currently at: 42 days from germination
Medium: Miracle Grow potting soil with 25% perlite mixed in; soil pH at 6.4 with slurry test
Water: Tap @ 7.7 pH and 75' F --- runoff at 5.7-6.0 pH
Nutes: Dyna-Gro Veg and Bloom; drops water pH to 6.6-6.8
Pots: 3 gal fabric
Temps: 80'F/day - 70'F/night
Humidity: 40-50%
Room: 6x6 tent
Vent: 6in inline fan that runs constantly while lights on and 15min/hr when lights off
Lights: (1) Sunraise S-2000 LED and (1) Sunraise S-3000 LED
As shown in the attached pics, the last 11 days has been a challenge. Everything had been going fine I guess, except plants #1 and 2 grew to 24" while #3, 4, and 5 were only 14". Then the burns began. I had been feeding a 1/4 tsp of the Veg and Bloom each at every feeding (enough for some runoff) which was about every 4th day. On day 30, I began giving them the recommended 1/2 tsp per gal water. On day 33, some yellowing and burnt tips showed up. I had watered them that morning. The yellowing/burning progressed, so on day 37 I flushed with 2.5 gal of just water. Next day the yellowing/burning was still progressing enough to start trimming the dead fan leaves, and I learned that a flush was like 3x the volume of the container, so I performed a full flush with 9 gals of just water through each. I knew it was a risk, but was worried they would all die. This halted the yellowing and burning tips. 2 days later (day 40), I had entire leaves yellowing with no tip burning. Looked to my newb eyes like deficiencies. I watered and included 1/2 tsp of just the Bloom nutes per gal as to not start the burn again.
Now on day 42, and the whole-leaf yellowing is starting up again. Some of the lower leaves are almost white they are so yellow. Today is day 4 since my flush, and water moisture is at a 5 on the scale of 1-10. I don't want to burn them again. I'm quite lost and frustrated at what to do. Any insight would be appreciated since I have noone to talk to in person and ask these questions. Thanks everyone!
