Just got back from Fairbanks. A good friend survived an accident he had no reason to survive. Incredible . All metal now. Still selling. He had 5 strains and every one was beautiful . Firm bud, springy, pretty. Kick ass. Believe it or not I had never had original Northern Lights .

$25 for 4 beautiful grams. His baby is due August 14 so kicking in but killer bud.

I then visited several retails. Same shit. Dry ass bud, no flavor. $35 1/8 "bargains".

You should give him a new nickname;

"Wolverine"

I recently saw a video of Trump taken a few years ago....
He was like speaking in full sensible sentences and made some sense on the topic he was talking about....
Then pan to today... I sometimes wonder if they replaced him with a somewhat dumber doppelganger.

no, he's 72 and eats a lot of fast food, his brain is full of cholesterol. his idea of exercise is walking from his golf cart to his ball and back.
i've often wondered why older people were so prominent in politics when many of them are half senile.

Senile dementia.

Imagine how much worse it has to get before anyone will do anything.

In the case of a lot of them, it's a genuine desire to serve and make the society they live in a better place.

For whatever reason, younger people often seem to have other priorities.

There's the whole perspective and wisdom gained from life experience angle, too.

The more closely our representatives match the populations they serve, in general the better.

Currently most memembe of the US House and Senate are millionaires, which does not mirror their constituency. I think this is a large part of the problem.

In regard to your last sentence. Do you think that's because of the huge cost to run? Seems only big business can afford to run and they of cause want a return. A big return. A huge return as they have to cover the years they don't win office or have their policies strangleholded. (Strangleholded should be a word! haha)

Most of them do not use their own money to run.

The fact that it is expensive to run is both intentional and a big problem in itself.

Why is it desirable for the wealthy to be so over represented?

Its not.
The shear length of the campaign and stages assures the cost of it. America must have the longest campaign in the world? It goes for like a year!. Huge costs.

i gotta better name metalman
He's a frigging miracle. Hit head-on by a semi between Fairbanks and Anchorage in a blizzard. A passerby stopped and he told her to call his wife. She did and the wife called Alaska State Troopers. Took 1-1/2 hours to cut him free of a fairly new Chevy Malibu. Broke everything on the left side of his body. With a baby due in August. But he's actually mobile. Tough sonofabitch.
