2 blue dreams and a couple questions

Wasn't getting aggro, however it is unfortunate that the seed game has been relegated to rebranding crosses with elite clone titles simply for the uninformed to snatch them up faster, when the genetics of said crosses are not a true representation of the original cut. Same applies to Sour Kush( "Headband"), SFV OG, etc, etc..
Good luck with those beans, whatever they may be.
hey thanks man. No worries. I see what your sayin though. Up until now I never even worried about what strain I had because to me it seems that half of the strains out there are made up by the grower. But I'll have to do some more research on the next strain I try and grow. Thanks again for your input. Notes taken for sure.

Whaddup longarm, just wanted to stop by and see how things were going. Btw, I would keep trying to grow put all 4, until you can tell for sure if the one is a male or not. Alien og is supposed to be the shit, and yeah I've heard all of the talk about "clone only" shit, and I'm sure its better but I have popped some truly amazing shit from hso (even if they did supposedly steal their genetics) lol. I've had blue dream before (even over here on the easy coast) which was so amazing I'm sure it was clone only, but clone or not I'm really hoping my hso blue dream does really well. It's just so hard to tell which ones will be the dankest until you've seen them flower.

Here's a little update on my blue dream: my plants are way outgrowing my aeroponic setup, so tomorrow I'm cutting a longer arm so I can space them out and putting hem in flower. I'm going to have the arm going through one of the holes (made for ducts) in my tent so that my res can sit on the outside, and not only save space but keep my water temps down. My hso blue dream has definitely outgrown the 3 other strains its with--cotton candy, desert diesel, and purple wreck. I only topped it once, but I supercropped the tops down and am doing some LST to produce more tops. It looks like she isn't wearing any underwear--shes all skinny on the bottom where I took so many clones from her main trunk. Her stem and branches don't seem as strong as my soil plants (the stems in my soil plants turn to wood, where my aeroponic plants seem crunchy like lettuce) but I've done some training to strengthen them up, so hopefully she holds some weight. My biggest problem is gonna be fitting everything in my 5'x5' tent.

Anyways, here's some pics. I'll post more tomorrow when I get them in flower.

IMG_20131230_215152.jpg Its the one on the left
IMG_20131230_215213.jpg You can see how bare the bottom is
IMG_20131230_215247.jpg But the top is nice and healthy, and filling out.
IMG_20131230_215316.jpgHere's the arm of my aero system. You can see how much faster the blue dream has grown--not only is it the lowest plant (on the arm coming from the res) but even after tying the two tops down, I still have to keep the light the highest on that end. I dunno what I'm gonna do in flower, when all these plants are finishing at different times. I guess I'm just gonna keep a little bit of branches alive on each plant, so that the roots don't die and cause problems in the res. But yeah, I can't wait for this next harvest, I'm getting a big place and I'm gonna use 10' arms and put 2 of them parallel coming out of the res, and put a 1000 watt on a light mover above them. If I can get a big enough place hopefully I'll have 2 of those systems. I love soil and would like to keep cropping some plants in soil, but the aero is just so fast and it seems like less work.

Anywho-milovan (sp?) Those plants look fucking AMAZING. I would absolutely love to do some outdoor plants, I would love to live in Cali lol.

And btw longarms, did you decide to keep your plants or what? I think you were talking about maybe culling a couple of days ago.

Ya I ended up keeping the BD that isn't presexing yet and the little BD. then I cloned the alien of a couple weeks ago and it's starting to root so I put that in a pot and once it starts again I'm going to throw them all into flower and start prepping for next grow.

Those ants are looking great BTW! Looks like that aero setup is getting overgrown a bit though. Looking great.

My plants are happy with me right now. Since I stopped that damn superthriive, all I've been feeding her is (again don't bash) a little bit of pee in the water. I know sounds grose, but for how small of an Mout you have to use its not that bad. And it freakin works great too. Seems like all my problem could have been s Ed all along! FML!!! Haha

Hshaha, yeah that's hilarious. People will tell you that it's stupid to use pee, but nitrogen is only absorbed by the plant in 2 forms: nitrates and ammonias, and pee does have the latter. It's water soluble, so it's fast acting, but can definitely burn.

Ya I'm being very gentle with the amount I put in my water, but it has worked for me before and is working currently. This definatly a budget grow and using pee as veg nutes is as budget as you can get!

Small update, plants are loving the new food they are getting :) and the bigger BD finally sexd, it's a girl!!! Stoked! And the other little one is coming right along.

Don't know of aNyone is still following along, but my girls are looking great! The main lined/LST BD is bushing out really nicely, and as I said befor has some calyx coming in. The stunted baby is really looking nice for how far behind she is in growth. I think I am going to throw them into flower on Friday. Well, here are some pics. This has become a micro grow, well with how small and stunted they are it has been one from the beginning. Thanks for lookin! Happy growing!

Well, here we go! They are really small but I plugged them into my flowering timer! I have more space for vegging, not much, but they should be way bigger than they are at this point. They are somewhere around 2 months old so it is time, small or not. I'm getting eager for a new batch of homegrown. I will keep updating this thread as I go. Hope to see a/some follower(s) along for the ride.

Hey everyone, so I have 2 blue dreams. They are both 30 days today from seed. I fed one of them too early and nute burned her. The other is being fed, but I waited a little while before feeding. I started lst on both of them, but they weren't getting enough light so untied them. They are in FFOF and being fed super thrive. Because I lstd them and FiMd, side growth was induced pretty well. I also trimmed off all the original fan leaves because they were blocking light getting to the rest of the growth. I have them both under 88w total of fluoro, 2 20w cfls and a 2' 2 lamp t5. All my bulbs are 2700k. My question is, do they seem a bit small for being 30 days old? I know I probably shocked them a bit when I trimmed them, and they are still growing well, I just think they are a little small for their age. What do to think?
Never trim again.Retain as much foliage as possibe.Cfl's need to be close and have to be moved daily if you have a vigorous growth..they are a pain imo.Get some 6500k or a 250watt HPS and be done with it.KEEP your plant GREEN and retail ALL of it's foliage.

Well I have always grown with cfl and they work great. I'm a tinkering kinda person n e way so moving lights around every couple of days is cool with me. I have always done some kind of defiation cause cfls don't penetrate the canopy like hps or mh. So the undergrowth needs to prosper as well. The ladies I have right now are very far behind veg wise, but made a full recovery from early mistakes and are now healthy and just flipped to 12/12 last night. Hoping to get a decent outcome for what I have to work with. Thanks for the reply and happy growing!
