2 week buds

This is my first grow. From the time I first saw "hairs" til now has been almost 2 weeks.
This is growing on my window sill 12 hours a day and I place in the closet(darkness) for 12.

Is this normal bud growth for budding about 2 weeks?

I guess the medium is soil right? How long have you vegged the plant before starting to flower? It might be time to kick in a little nute feed when you water, go with around 1/3 recommended strength flowering nutes for a few waterings and watch it. Plant will tell you if it needs more or not.

Yes, she is in soil. This plant is 'Atomic' strain. She was gifted to me from someone who kept her as a mother. I never intended her to flower... at least not now. I was hoping to shape her a bit first but she got away from me. She's a bimbo.
I started her on Big Bloom last week. She seems to be doing ok on that.
