2 weeks in " jus a question

ok so i have 6 right now ranging 4 -6 inches. They are under 2 flouro tubes 25" in 2 rows of three. One of the plants 3 of the leaves are already getting a dead look its rly not big but is that natural for them that early, or is that a sign of anything. And if any 1 can gimme some links 2 plant pics at 4 weeks old? Thx Tree

You might not have enough light.

i believe i still have plenty of light its not that much brown jus wondering if any 1 knew wut it was mostly thot itd been bitten by a bug

I have used floro tubes to clone and veg. (3) 30" cool and (3) 30" warm total of (6) tubes in a cabinet 36" high. Floro tubes are the worst, in my opinion. The edges of my plants would brown from burn yet they still grew all lanky and stretched. My nodes were like 2-3" apart. You want them to veg BUSHY.

I am now switching to CFL for clone and veg. I have seen a thread or two on here documenting CFL and DAMN!

they never burnt my leaves yet and the brown isnt much at all i jus was in attack mode vs bugs if that was the problem but it doesnt look like it is cuz the 3 lil brown spot-lines havnt got any bigger. cheap budget no cam. and flouro are cheap. after this grow ill prob make a SCROG grow outta clones. by then ill have way better lighting. how tall would a plant that hasnt stretched much be at the end of veg 2 months? cuz all my plants are ranging 4.5-7 IN at day 16 veg.

this is a watering issue.

you either have to much or not enough.
I would bet to much.

You need to water the plants when they are completely dry.

You will need a moisture meter, they are cheap.
Water and then let them dry completely before watering again.

Marijuana does not like wet feet.

You need fans.
As many as possible.
Intake and exhaust.

With those type of fluros you can almost touch the plant with them and not burn the plants.

ya ive had them touch plant accident of course but it only turned the very tips the slightest tips of the leaves turned yellow. how does a meter work? you need 1 for each pot to stick it in and leave it ? or jus 1 for all and it just tests it real quick dont know how they work? First grow jus 6 plants mere experiment and trying get a lil bud. If all works out well i may scrog

You stick it in your pot and it tells you how wet your soil is. Of course their are fancier ones out there and what not, but the one we use is this sort of style, but it doesn't look exactly like this one. They are pretty cheap at your garden store. I tend to check each pot twice -- once as close as I can get to the stalk (be careful that you're not jabbing you're plant! If it doesn't go in, don't force it. Try another spot!), and one further away.

If you're not, make sure you're PHing you're water, too. You can get a cheap drop PH test for your water from your garden store too.

And like was said before, completely dry out before watering again. Aside from the plants not liking to be water-logged, you'll want those roots to stretch-out, grow, and 'reach' for water to form a nice, good root-base.

What type of floros are you using? There are some specific for plants, full spectrum bulbs, I believe (Memaw knows better than I, but I think that's what they are.)

I would also see if you can find a cheap digi cam somewhere, pictures help so much you would not believe. The people here are super helpful, but you can only assume so much without seeing a picture.

And as a side note (sorry for the double posting) your plants can and will grow into your lights if you have them too too close, so be sure to check them every day to make sure this doesn't happen! We had one of ours grow into one of our lights, luckily we caught it next day.

ya they rarely touch the light im home alot so usually thats controlled. My lights are jus rly cheap 10 dollar tubes 25" i rly dont know anything about them cuz after this i prob plan to never use again. ima go pick up a soil water tester think can be found at wal-mart? cant get a digi cam yet i wish i had a higher budget but first grow - cheap - and jus seeds from regular mersh. id like to grow afghan that stuff looks like the shit. i watch my plants alot i have fun doing this prob turn into a hobby. ima need to do some more on SCROG if all goes well ill be cloning these plants and do a scrog grow. thx for the help treetoker
