Just out of curiosity has this thing started? Seems like the rules and regulations were specific.

Should I post my pics now?

The Dude Abides :)

one of my submissions got eaten by a deer today :'( oh well

I had that problem a few years back, put out like 30 plants. They kept on getting eaten by deer and dug up by coyotes, bastards anyway. I hope to hell I don't have this problem this year, will be puttin mine out in a week or two

how do u train it to have so many tops? i tried uncle ben's technique, but thats only for 4 tops :O
When it was about 1 1/2 feet I fimmed it, and it grew 4 new tops, but now, its just going nuts! ....it just grows that way, I think because its in a really wide and deep hole...

mhhh strange, i somehow dont think its growing loadsa tops cause its in a big hole :P

i was wondering... how did o4 (that aussie guy) get his monster plant to have like a hundred tops :?

UHHHH YEAH dude that is why it grows like that...bigger holes=bigger root mass...they arent all necessarily tops, but just a shitload of shoots growing everywhere.

oh and he basically scrog'd his whole plant with a ring of netting...like a cage around his plant, so it really bush'd out

i understand that a bigger hole = bigger plant, but it doesnt mean that it will be "bushy"

and i cant see how putting a net around it will make it bush like that >.< maybe thats just my noobness showing.

for the person above me look up screen of green technique and you will understand how a net will make it bushy.. but im wondering is this thing actually going on?
wasnt there supposed to be bi-monthly updates on the plants?
well regardless here are my two entries that were not turned into deer food..
first 2 pics are of the same plant

well Im gonna keep posting updates of my biggest girl, although I havent read the entire thread, like how are the plants being judged, just overall size, width and height?

alright i have 11 plants in the ground Northern lights and Afghan x mazar and there about 3 weeks old in 2x2x2 holes filled with organic soil and i was wondering if i could still join the comp ?

haha.. well i read that they were going to be judge by overall size looks yield and quality of the herb but i dont think theres really anyone to judge anymore hah
so im just doing it to have fun

Yeah I think Dragon forgot about this, but wut the hell. I will have some out anyways, I have 2 ready to go out. Shooting to get em out this weekend, I just took 5 more clones off my Widow that I have. All but one of them will be going outside.
