wow, thats really awesome to see the girls flowering so beautifully . They look great! really beautiful pictures Brandon! i especially like the one with the pink flowers in the background.
You have a ways to go in the flowering stage. they will fill out much more..... and when the pistils start turning amber things are getting closer.
I decide when to harvest by checking trichome.
I recommend this scope to check your trichomes.
http://www.amazon.com/Carson-MM-200-Micromax-60X-100X-Microscope/dp/B000P8AUMU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1315798142&sr=8-2
Cut a small sugary trichome covered leaf and place it on a table with the scope over it... its a little tricky but move the scope around until you see your trichomes appear. At the early stage you will see clear trichome. The next stage of rippening they will turn milky and finally amber. I start to flush when i see a few amber because by the time the flush is over there will be a lot more. Not many amber will give you a soaring head high effect. Many amber will give a full body indica couch lock effect. Waiting for too many amber you will loose potency with over ripening.
Also i think there is a thread somewhere where you can post your bud pictures specifically for help to see if they are ready. I have a feeling you have a ways to go though, those buds are going to get huge , heavy and fat. You might even need to get some posts to support their wieght!!!!
awesome job on keeping the budworm at bay.
fantastic gardening im looking foward to a massive harvest.. peace out amber

More pics, they're getting fatter by the day. Love watching them grow :D. Made another small batch of the flowering tea last night, fed them with 4 tbs/gal of it and 2 ml/gal of the bloombastic this morning. Gonna start hitting them hard with the tea now that I have enough to finish me off  The Red Dragon is losing A LOT of leaves, but oh well, it's looking good to me either way :). Don't really know if I'm going to support them more than I already have. The DV started leaning hard a few weeks ago so I put two stakes on either side of it closer to the pine trees and tied both the RD and the DV to the stakes.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words and taking a look at my journal :D. The end is near... can't wait  I've read that a lot of people are going into the home stretch and not feeding their plants anymore... Are my two in the ground at this stage? I was about to feed them this morning and I thought about it. Some advice would be greatly appreciated :) I've been feeding them the flower tea concentrate at 4 tbs/gal for two days then give them a rest the third, and one of these two days I feed them bloombastic at 3ml/gal. Hope everyone is doing as well as I am :). I've been so busy that this final stretch of flowering that I thought was going to drag on forever is flying by at breakneck speed :hump:

The end is definitely near Brandon. I stopped feeding my PK this week. She has about 2 weeks left (I am hoping for at least a week and a half). DJJ said to go ahead and just H20 her. So, that is what I am doing. All the trichs are white with a maybe a couple of darker ones, if that helps. You are doing great kid.

More pics. I ran out of the flowering tea again, should I go buy more at this point or just let them go without nutes the rest of the way? About how much longer am I looking until harvest, 2-3 weeks? Already started to flush the Island Sweet Skunk, it's looking pretty tasty. I've got to get back to homework, I've been pretty swamped lately, but here they are, comments greatly appreciated :D.

A few more pics of the RD and DV. They're looking good, really good :D. They're no where near as frosty as the Island sweet skunk, but the smell of the Dolce Vita is amazing. Every morning I go out and water them and thoroughly inspect them for any signs of worms/eggs (I googled pics of eggs lol). If I smell my hands after they smell like lemony goodness. The smell (especially after touching, not so much in the backyard) of the DV strongly overpowers the RD so far, but we'll see if it changes. This past week they have started to stink a lot more heheheh. In other news, I think today is the deathday of the Island Sweet Skunk. The pic of it in my last post was taken on the 18th, so I'll post some pics of it today before the possible chop to get opinions. Anyways, for now here's some pics I took yesterday :) :joint:

Harvested Iss. The big top nug weighed ~19 g right after trimmed lol, maybe it'll be like 4 g after? Anyways it looks and smells soooooooo bomb, and the bud looks really dense, I think I know what will be going in the ground next year :D.

And some night shots of the purple haze. It's looking pretty tasty, I really hope it turns purple!

I'm starting to consider drying places... Would heat be a big issue? I know it needs to be dark and have good air circulation.

Obsessive heat can tear down the thc so it can be a warm area so as long as you got good air circulation of course. Don't let it get hot though.

So drying outdoors is not an option? My parents so far have been pretty stern about not bringing it inside, let's see if I can work some magic in the next week lol... Would drying in a horse trailer outside under a tree be very bad conditions? It's pretty hot in there :X
