If we get any rain during late flowering, you're going to need support.
You can strengthen the branches by soaking the foliage daily. The plant will respond by increasing its strength.
You can put a post next to each plant and tie the heavier branches to it as needed. 8' tee posts work well.
I'd suggest making remesh "cages" next year. A 7 foot wide roll will make half a dozen 4 foot diameter, 7 foot tall cages. Any heavy branches that poke through can be tied to the remesh for support.
I'm still using some cages in my garden that I built for my tomatoes, 25 years ago.
