In a passive effort to eliminate excess moisture (after shaking the buds and after using the leaf blower) I decided to skip a watering - hoping that my girls would soak up the water where they could. There's zero science to the method but it was worth a shot. Honestly, I'm fairly confident that moisture will not play a detrimental role in these final stages.
I gave them nutrients one last time this morning. Standards suggest that the flush be started ten to fourteen days before harvest but if that's the rule for 5gal pots, I'm going to give my girls three weeks just to be sure. I want white ash in the bowl- zero residual nutrients.
I haven't been able to remember any significant points to any dreams for as long as I can remember; until last night. My paranoia has seeped into my subconscious. I had a dream that I went out to my patch (which was a greenhouse in a different location) and my plants stood there in their 45s, void of all leafs and flowers- completely stripped. They looked like my tomatoe plants after the squirrels/rabbits devoured them, just remnants of life.
I didn't even get 100% dressed before I ran out to my garden. Everything was beautiful, better than I could have imagined. I feel pretty great that I've done this without aide. I mean, I've gotten plenty of advice but all the work is been done by ME! Well, my wife helps more than she realizes, got to give her credit too
I snapped a few photos this morning for your viewing pleasure!! Lol
