Some sweet looking bud my friend.
Spider mites can be visible and you will find webbing and rot inside the bud. Once you notice them, it's trouble. Washing the buds won't do much, you'll have to toss all that's been infected, again, look inside the colas. Bummer if it is spider mites. Also, check the bottoms of the leaves, you'll see yellow eggs, spider mites have several different stages and many different sizes. There might be only one leaf on the whole plant with eggs on the bottom, search with diligence. In the microscope today I see some movement! It’s a cheap little portable unit - so I can’t get it in focus on whatever this is.
perhaps spider mites?
No experience with this issue - dealing with with rot has been the focus. I am going to chop today - what is the best course here?
I am treating with dr zimes (citric acid) after the chop and I will wash the bud as well with h2o2 or mayber zerotol.
any other advice?
What was your process of bud washing? 1 cup 3% h202 in like 4 gal of water? And 2 rinse buckets? Thanks: I did a bud wash last year with H2O2 so this will fit right into the program!
Hang your plant over a storage bin and see what falls out. Tiny caterpillar hatchlings hanging on threads are easy to see with good backlighting. In the microscope today I see some movement! It’s a cheap little portable unit - so I can’t get it in focus on whatever this is.

No worries, the wind will blow it offGood luck getting through this latest rain to everyone else with plants in the ground!
If the weather procrastinators are accurate it’s a bit more than a simple splash of wetness… and the 15-20mph suggested wind gusts will challenge our holding on immature heavy buds. Uncharted waters for me.No worries, the wind will blow it off
