They just look unhappy to me for some reason. I’ll let things progress but this weekend they’ll be two weeks considering the seedling mix is light in nutes why are they so dark to me maybe just me but cotyledons are still dark green

@bam0813 I think they look fine, I wouldn't be concerned. I typically don't start seeds under my HLG light. I know you are limited on just the single room, so it is what it is. I always start under led shop lights and 4ft florescent shop lights until I am close to flipping.

Temps and humidity look good. You've got a fan on them, right? I don't stress about stretching at this stage because you can always bury it on transplant.

Yes fan on oscillation low very slight movement from fan good flow. Thanks I’ve always did veg starts under fluorescent but I think your on to something. Maybe next run I’ll start under those first.

Look a little green so maybe a bit too much nitrogen until their roots spread more, but I don’t see anything alarming going on.

You could always buy a cheap 2x4 or 3x3 tent and leave it in the flower room to do your veg/starts.

Ok crew I may need some help/ input. My seedlings imo are behind and I’m kinda stumped so here goes. As you guys know I got some big boy lights I gotta get familiar with but when these broke ground my light was at 64” and at 30% I think these lights have ten clicks so logic says that right? Any way they seemed to stretch a tad so I dropped light to 31” and 20% they stopped stretching. One thing I did dif was I started in 3.5” pots versus a cell, no biggy I figured , I’ll skip 1g. So, pots filled with black gold seedling mix, pretty light stuff. These seedlings emerged on12/31. Haven’t been given anything except tap that’s been allowed to gas off come to room temp and ph adjusted to 6.5. Do you guys see problems here. They look very dark, I think even slight tip burn. Also seem behind for eleven days? Strains are new to me but…… is this still a light issue? Don’t have a good meter until I land a couple more side jobs but the Photone on app on iPhone reads 370 PPFD. I can tell you though, I avoid anything Black Gold in general. Pretty sure that shit gave me fungus gnats

That was the plan originally but my tent is too tall by just a couple inches. I’ve actually considered laying it on its side but probably a pita

If it’s a ph problem then the starter mix was off out of the bag. Possible but I’ve never ever worried about or checked ph of seed mix or really any soil . They’ve only gotten water at6.5 so far. Also never had any problems with black gold not saying it couldn’t happen.

Looks like the soil is a bit hot for seedling stick with straight water. Have you looked into promix if your going with salt based nutes cant beat it.

Thats what it looked like to me too @ Thumper60. I just cant believe seedling mix composed of peat and perlite would be too hot considering its a seedling mix. Only got ph 'd water so far. 6.5
