21'-22' MA INDOORS THREAD

Still playing with the led, turned it down to about 20% and moved down to 24”, 18/6. Humidity up around 50% with a little ultrasonic, temp still mid-60s. Watering the keg cups when they get below 150g, they drink about 10ml/day. Thats 10 grams for the metric challenged. View attachment 5082372View attachment 5082373
… and ~2 tsp for the gram challenged. I just looked it up. lol :D

Fimmed this after seeing seven finger fans, took the bottom nodes and watered. Noticed some tip curl and i think it was too close to the ceiling tile wall, very reflective surface. Still playing with the light. Getting a five gallon stabilized for transplant.image.jpg

Waziri repros just hit a foot tall while the small Tirah repro putters along lol. Might be seeing some female preflowers on a couple of the Waziri. I’ll yank the lights and force them into flower at the end of the month.

Nice load of beans p59, i thought freezing was bad?
Cleaned up a little, uppotted the fim, seeing crossed stipules on her fwiw. Still playing with dimmer and distance.

Angus from The Real Seed Co. advised freezing his seeds with desiccant packs if not using promptly. I know there are different schools of thought on this, some say only freeze for 10+ year storage and leave in fridge if storing for less than ten years.

I’ve done OK so far with germination after freezing - I figure in their native environments they’d be frozen a good portion of the winter, so why not mirror those conditions.

Not sure their native environment includes freezing winters. Hemp does i suppose since it grows wild in theChamplain valley.
Got a light meter ap for the iphone. Pushed my light from around 5,000 to 12,000 lux at canopy, fim approved.

Oh it does, the Hindu Kush areas of Northern Afghanistan and Pakistan have quite cold winters. People from there post IG pics of sheaves of weed covered in snow, and they only dry-sift it for hash when it is below freezing so the trichomes come off easily without having to manipulate the weed much to avoid getting a lot of plant material in the sift. I could see freezing being a question with a Thai or African strain, though.

These led lights are driving me nuts, always vegged with flourescents. Added a fan, switched from a 200w Jar-something to the 200wBozily on its lowest 1 of 5 settings, light foliar feed with Grow Big. Soil is last summers mix of HF, OF, and one of those Promix compact peat bales, flushed by rain and snow.

Looks like the big one in the back is ok, so the lights must not be off by that much. Maybe try evening the canopy by raising the shorter ones a little more? Personally, I‘ve always favored a T5 for seedlings but then drop them under a 1000w MH @ 50%-75% @ 14”-18” distance depending on veg size. I recently picked up a luxx meter just to get a more comfortable general confirmation of height. I’ll be downsizing next time I run indoors and going to an LED solution (hlg 200w x 2)… I know most LED’s these days come with a spec sheet that notes expected distances online. Maybe you’d get something from the specs? I’m a fan of the Grow Big as well. Only organic nute FF makes I think. Btw… I’ve heard that eating fresh snow is not a great thing for a person to do because of the chemical makeup of some sort, wonder if it matters to your ladies?

I’m good with the golden shower p59. Canopy is actually pretty even with the solo cups centered. Agree they look hungry so i foliar fed but they’re down to 150g today, ready to water/feed. Fim was a shitshow, looks like i just topped it but no problem. Just got a ph and tds/ec pen set to play with. That free lightmeter ap was free for a day, tried another, free for cfl’s:mad: only. Think i’ve got this but thanks for the input. On a side note, last summers cure is perfect at four months:bigjoint:bongsmilie:weed:
