remember to add in weak superthrive. Or there are other things you can add in. You're going to need something to have any hope at all.

I don't know yet how well this might work, just a little do-it-yourself idea that I had so I figured I would share
soak them till they sink. ad some super thrive to your water. i would use some gibberelic acid, but if you're not comfortable using things like that, you should still be able to get some results. if they will pop a tail out, then kind of give up, they probably don't have enough moisture stored anymore, soaking them till they sink ought to help them rehydrate before you pop them.

Over the years I’m sure the fridge has gotten a little cold. Bump the control kinda thing. They may have been froze who knows.

The first couple were soaked for about 20 hrs then into paper towel. Took 12 hrs to get them to sink.
Maybe was to wet?they did pop in the water. Once in the paper towel they did nothing. I planted them in rockwool and only one grew out about another 3/8 of an inch. It’s still there. Will be garbage soon.

maybe, i don't sit and watch for them to sink, but i do plant them pretty much as soon as i notice they aren't floating anymore. i don't think they were drowned, though. they're just old....the healthiest ones still ought to be good, the ones that weren't in a-1 shape to begin with are probably dead by now. just have to winnow through them and see what you get.
