How much do you weigh? Are you familiar with concepts of ‘set’ and ‘setting’?hello guys i was thinking about dropping 250ug.I dropped acid a few times.First time did 150ug(pretty intense) then dropped like 100-120ug-170ug on a few ocasions.The last time i took"anonymous" tabs labeled as 200ug maybe they were like"180ug" but it seemed less intense than the first time when i dropped 150ug.Now i am thinking about doing 250ug.I know it will be quite a difference, what do u guys think, should i take a lower dose and build my way up?
There’s a definite “threshold effect” w/acid a dosage zone in which you’re definitely feeling the effects, but in which you haven’t yet “made it through”...it’s like being pressed against a membrane, but not actually through the membrane. At a low enough dose, you don’t feel the pressure of pushing against it; with a larger but still sub-threshold dose, you’ll feel the pressure, and it may well be very troubling, maybe even scary if you’re not prepared for it. These sensations are what gave rise to the myth about strychnine in acid. There are to ways to deal with it: one is to increase the dose, the other is to stretch - as in yoga, slow gentle stretches, opening the chest, opening your shoulders, lengthening you leg muscles.as you’re talking about taking more than usual, a brief period of stretching as you begin to feel the effects should set you right; if they intensify rather than easing, bump your dose slightly.
Dealing with dosage proper, 250mcg is considered a full-experience dose for a man of typical weight and build, based on the era of medical experimentation; since there’s really no such thing as a typical body weight, and since the average square of blotter tends to be around 75-110 mcg, taking two blotter hits Instead of one is a pretty safe method: I weight ~180#, and I have settled on a minimum dose of two hits, sometimes a third, if I sail through the membrane and all is going well. Dosing like this in the (roughly) 220-330mcg range will be more intense, so being in a comfortable setting with knowledgeable friends (setting) and a positive, happy attitude (set) may be good things to arrange for your trip.
Before you extend your dose into the 400/500/600 range, you’ll want to already be familiar and comfortable with the 200-300 range, just to keep you feeling positive and in control as the intensity and introspection ramp up.
