So lemme ask, was the 10+ week grow worth it with the medical seeds sour D? I have 3 of them vegging right now while my flowering tent has just been flipped and will be held up with the ones in there for the next 8+ weeks.
I was planning on doing a sour d grow mixed with a few other random strains but for whatever reason I thought the sour D was a 9 weeker strain.... I'm back peddling with it now trying to convince myself to just take cuts of the 3 and put them on the back burner and get some 7-8 week strains in there. I have seen very few medical seeds sour d reviews, grows or anything....of course I figured this out after I ordered a 5 pack of it, as weary as I am about doing that long of a strain (I can only grow between october and may so I want to get as many grows as I can in).
So would you say you'd grow it again?
Also, good work man, thats a pretty damn good harvest. I dont think I got that much with my 1000 watt light on my first grow.
Thanks Whitey, don't have a lot of time to write a long Sour Diesel review now, but definitely will in the next few days with some shots of the bud like i did with the blue cheese.
Quickly though, Medical Seeds Sour Diesel has a very nice yield, very nice smell, it can be pushed a lot with nutes, i pushed her and she never showed signs of stress. Definitely top her as each of her main branches grow as large as they would if u didn't top her (can't prove this but i can't imagine them being much bigger!).
As for the smoke, it takes a good 2 months for the taste to come out but when it does, its delicious, and a PERFECT all day smoke, i would most definitely recommend this strain and will definitely be growing it again in the future sometime. Don't worry man she's 100% worth the wait, when she was towards the end of her flowering time, the buds looked INSANE close up and in person.
