I have heard that you are not supposed to LST or top autoflowering strains- and if you do it adds at least 2 weeks to growth?
Have you heard this?
I am not an Auto Flower grower- but I just built my friend a beautiful room with a 600 watt hps and he has decided to run 10 autoflowering plants- 5 ER and 5 Blue Himalaya Diesel each of the 5 in an 18 gallon DWC Rez.
I am skeptical of the autoflowering strain- I've been doing more and more research on them to help him through his first grow. Its fun to learn new things, and these seem to be a new frontier.
I've also heard you should be running 1/3-1/2 strength nutes... you mentioned full strength... and your plants show a slight burn (if it appears the same in autoflowering strains as photoperiod...as i assume)
Definitely subscribed. Curious to see how te ER does under such low light, and compare that to how it does under the 600.
