The smallest of light leaks can be a detrimental influence - you really need to have them in absolute darkness with no disruptions. For emergency's you can use a green horticultural bulb to access them but try not to.
Fix the leek...I would say that they are still growing taller from it.
Topping them after they have turned to flower isn't that great either, you should have done that a week before the light cycle change. I have done it before and it resulted in a much later finish.
Bending them over won't hurt them, and your move of putting the taller plants to the edges is a good idea. It helps get them in the light footprint better.
