31 dems to vote against Holder?

Hyprocrosy and complete disregard for history are the calling card of the new "conservatives."

The same people that make Reagan into a conservative god are the same people that would call him a RINO and shun him from today's GOP. The man raised taxes nearly a dozen times, ran up massive deficits and compromised with Dems in order to pass bills.
If he was a politician today idiots like Hannity would crucify him on a daily basis. Jeb Bush was right
OK but I still don't see why it is aimed at me.

It isn't aimed at you specifically.

I find the outrage over this from the right laughable. Seriously, the conservative movement in the US has become a running joke. Making this out to be some kind of Watergate or Iran/Contra moment for the administration. Oh well, I'm gonna have to get used to it. It's gonna be especially fun to see the reaction from the far Right if Obama gets a second turn. Almost as fun as watching Ron Paul have his ass handed to him state after state

I just don't want to be lumped into "the right". I find the left and the right equally culpable for the financial debacle facing us now. That's why I think we need a not-so-new approach and go back to our fiscal roots.
This could turn out to be as big as Watergate or Iran/Contra, maybe bigger. I think it's fun to watch the high and mighty elitists get caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

Holder is going to resign. You could tell it from the way he talked about himself as AG in the past tense. Mark this post. I predict he will say he is being targeted for being black, and he is not going to let that derail all the important work of the administration, so he is resigning so all this can be put behind us. But it won't work because the question will then be - what did Obama know, and when did he know it.

I am not sure why you find it so laughable.

Congress has constitutional oversight in this situation.

They requested the documents related to fast and furious to conduct an investigation.

Out of 140,000 documents, holder has chosen to give them only about 8,000.

He doesnt have that right and he is being held in contempt of congress by a clearly bipartisan house measure with 31 DEMOCRATS signing on.

This isnt politics, it is obstruction of justice.

I find all the outrage funny.

We had a POTUS sells arms to Iran while we had a freaking embargo. Those funds were then used to pay for a shadow war after Congress refused to allow military action. When it was all said and done Reagan and North were both heroes to the far right. So yeah I find it amusingly hypocritical to see them pontificating on the subject.

Really? You really think it's funny that over 1400 weapons were bought and sold (and probably delivered) to Mexican cartels? Who knows how many people those weapons killed, not to mention Brian Terry.
But somehow, because a republican got away with something 30 years ago, it makes Fast & Furious forgivable? Why? Are the democrats owed one?
I don't know who you are alluding to but even if I was right wing, how would that make me a hypocrite? Because a republican POTUS became popular, even among lefties?

It's shocking really how much this admin is like Nixon. Holder stonewalling congress and trying to negotiate what he will turn over, is exactly like Nixon saying, "How about I have my secretary transcribe that stuff instead of giving you the tapes? That way we can avoid a constitutional crisis."

No I dont think the LEO getting killed is funny.

I find people overracting and using this as a political game to be funny and honestly naive. We dont live in a perfect world and sometimes things go wrong. Would you guys prefer if we didn't have stings that target gun runners and the Mexican cartels?
You guys are taking a mole hill and trying to turn it into Mt Rushmore

This has made is crystal clear that the right will do and say anything to bring Obama down. If the op had resulted in 100 arrests you guys would be bitching it wasn't enough. Obama is in a no win situation with too many of you. He could single handedly kill UBL and make water into wine and you guys would bitch that the wine was white and not red

Take what jackass?

The fact that an op went wrong? The people here in a tizzy are the righties. I'm sitting back laughing, answer my question.
Would you prefer that we let Mexican cartels and drug runners go unchecked?

Your response is textbook modern "conservatism"

Don't adress fact at all, just angrily shout and point your racist homophobic finger at the Kenyan, Socialist POTUS
You won't address my questions and comments because you can't admit that I'm right. BTW I'm not a Liberal, Im just able to discern common sense from political talking points

Let's actually parse your post:

1. You call me jackass. Now, what do you think you accomplish by that? I don't think you have ever seen anyone, anywhere accomplish anything by calling anyone jackass. At least not since third grade. And yet you do it, giving us all an unintended clue.

2. An OP went wrong? Maybe, maybe not. Even if it was an op gone wrong, those who ran the op are accountable for the results. But you don't know it was an op went wrong. Maybe it went the way it was supposed to go and what went wrong was it got exposed. That's why we need an investigation.

3. Let Mexican cartels go unchecked? I see. So we either have massive fuckups (or worse) like fast and furious OR we let mexican cartels go unchecked. This is supposed to be the admin's pushback against this scandal? Let me ask you why you opposed the war in Iraq - did you prefer an all-out nuclear exchange in the middle east? Same poor logic.

There should be a special prosecutor to investigate this and the national security leaks by the whitehouse. Both are examples of trading US interests for Obama's political advantage. Do we really need to go back and revisit all the democrat demands for documents and investigations during the Bush years? If prosecution was good enough for Scooter Libby it is good enough for Eric Holder.

I refer to you as a jackass because I don't like you. It's kind of hard for me to like a homophobe. I find homophobes and racists to be the most morally bankrupt and hypocritical people in our society.

To entertain the "thought" that the Op went as planned and the the mistake is that it was exposed is honestly disgusting. Your point about there being culpability at high levels is a little but if a stretch.

Using that rational, that there's responsibility at the top for every Op undertaken is a slippery slope. Do you really expect the POTUS to be responsible for all ATF, DEA, etc ?

If so what should we do about the unfunded invasion of a country based in bad intelligence and lies?
