Day 7 of flower. Nice pistil development. The tallest has grown to 26" from 18" in 7 days. Average height is about 22". Last week it was about 16". I have them arranged with the two bagseed (largest) on the far right. 2 front and center are White Widow, 2 middle are White Cookies, 2 furthest back are Purple Kush. Inreally really wish I had another light to toss in there. I might be getting one here soon. Thinking a 4 cob led to start with for supplemental lighting. Then maybe adding on and going all cob led for my next flowering.

I was just out in my room and was double checking the one bagseed plant I thought was suspect to be male but was finally satisfied it was a female. The closer I looked I didn't see any pistils forming, even though his sister was starting to explode with them. I started looking closer at the nodes... Definitely male. Took him out, hacked him down. Oh well, it was just a bagseed plant. And I was running out of space anyways. Its better this way... :,(

Went through and did what is most likely going to be my last major supercropping. 8 days into flower. Ive been debating whether to do a lolipopping on one or two plants, maybe the purple kush since its so tall and gangly. From here out though its more or less just a bit of defoliation to keep penetration optimal. Im running Dya-Pro ProTekt and Bloom on half of my plants, and continuing with Foliage Pro on the other half to see how they compare. Im thinking of also getting a small bottle of Terpinator or Floralicious Plus to run on a few plants to do side by sides. Other that this I will only be adding molasses in the last 2 weeks and thats it. I might get a little more adventurous with bloomboosters on my next grow. Keeping this one simple.

Day 10 of flower. The mystery bagseed plant is ahead of the pack by quite a bit. Her tallest branch is already at 30". The next talles is the purple kish at 26". He flower development also looks further ahead by a few days at least. All are looking fantastic though. It looks like the stretching is slowling down a bit which is awesome. here they are:

Todaybis day 15 of flower. I snapped a few pics before th light came on because you can see the bud formation a lot better. I can't believe how fast these buds grow. it seems like the white widows and white cookies are behind right now. The kush's are all exploding though.

Trimmed and watered today. I trimmed off a bunch of the bottom growth where the light wasn't getting to them very well. It was sort of a lolipop... Some more than others. They are so tightly packed in there that I feel this was the best thing to do. starting to get some frost!!

Looking good just don't take too much off, the plant in the first pic looks a bit too heavily pruned.

That one was super tall and gangly to begin with. I only took off about 3 leaf sets... If you look at the node spacing on the top, it was like that all the way down. Idk if thats typical of kush growth but both purple kush's grew really tall like that. The only difference id that I did a lot more lst to the other one so its a little wider. My mystery plant also grew exactly like those so maybe its some kind of kush? The bud was pretty kush-like.

Hello, its been a minute since Ive updated this. Life has been busy! Today is day 29 of flower amd its looking pretty damn good in there. I began mixing my Dyna-Gro Foliagepro/Bloom together in a 50/50 ratio and they seem to be liking that. Im also still using the Protekt and might begin using molasses here soon... I haven't decided yet.
I discovered a few days ago that my favorite girl, my bagseed girl, has began to hermie. I have found about 7 very small male flowers. Most of them were just little green sac looking things and all were right on tops of the buds. When I pluched them out and opened them, there were 2-3 little green to greenish/yellow banana looking things inside, so Im hoping I got them early enough. Im thinking there could be two reasons this might have happened.
First, is that during the second or third week of flower this girl was stretching incredibly fast and got about 10-12" away from the light at one poont for a few days. I started to see a little yellowing/lightening on the tops so I raised the light and put all my shorter girls on blocks to even out the canopy all around. They went back to their normal color within a day or two.
Secondly, there was a small light leak coming from the air vent at the bottom of the room. At first I just covered it with a black tray but it did not completely light proof it. My loghts are set 10am-10pm, so there was aboit 4 hours of light coming into the room for the first week. I have since covered it and sealed it woth tape. It is now 100% pitch black.
I guess there could be a third reason... Its a bagseed. I found two of these seeds in a quarter pound I got. Maybe this plant could have hermied amd thats why I only found a few seeds? Not sure.
At this point Im going to keep her for a while and see if I can manage the nanners. If it gets out of control, she will be removed :'( she really is a beautiful plant though.
Anyways, to the plants! I feel they might be a little behind based on other grows Ive seen around the same week. Maybe these are just slower flowerers? Or maybe the light leak slowed them down a bit. Or maybe they are just fine and Im overly critical! The largest bagseed girl (the hermie). She looks weeks ahead of the others in terms of flower development. It would be a real shame to lose her.

Some more shots just for fun :)
Looks awesome! You have 9 total girls in your room ? Does it seem overcrowded bad? Just wondered. Fixing to start a run in 3x4x6.5. Thinking I can flower 6 plants. It looks like the light is doing a good job getting down to the lower branches

There were 7 total, one of the bagseed ones turned out to be male afterall... Maybe a hermie as I could have sworn it was female. The other bagseed plant hermied a little as well.
the area I live in is actually in the midst of a pretty severe bug infestiation right now. False cinch bugs. They suck plants dry. They ended up wreaking havoc on my girls and completely destroyed them. I pulled all the plants out twice, moved them into the house, picked every damn bug off with tweezers, diatomaceous earth on top of the soil, bug nets put up across both entrances into the grow area... Along with nets over each individual plant and tied around the main stem using zip ties and bamboo poles as framing. Bombed the grow room... They still managed to get in, and still managed to conpletely swarm them. I have no idea how. I ended up having to chop them all down about a week or so early. So so very sad but I lost the fight. I will have to start from scratch once the bugs move on... Hopefully soon. These bugs are not only in my grow area, they are also infesting our house and property. Once every few years this happens when we get an especially wet winter and especially hot summer combined. Nothing we can do about it; just part of nature. Totally sucks, but its something we have to live with living in the country.
I will be starting some Rare Dankness 501st OG for my next run. Pretty excited about it. It will be going into fall so the cool weather will be good for killing off the bugs as well as bringing out the excellent representation of colors with this strain.

It was a bit crowded. And it was just too annoying to work with all of them in that small of a space. Waterings were a pain in the ass. I will probably go for 5 total next time. My next seeds aren't feminized though so its difficult to tell how many I will end up with. I will probably start with 8-10 seeds with the hope of having 4-6 females. I would be ok with 4 and just veg longer. Yields would be the same with proper training and I think the longer veg time would help me get the structures I want. Even if I get 6+ females, I will most likely just pick the 4 best to finish with. I think 4 is a good number in that space. Easier to work with. I found that when I had 7 plants to deal with, I stopped caring about individual ones and it became more of a chore to water and feed than the enjoyment it started out as.
The light is fantastic! I will most likely be getting a second one soon. Excellent penetration. Even with that many crammed in there and a heavy canopy, the lower buds developed very nicely all the way down the branches. The colas were getting very big and filled out the entire plants. I will absolutely be continuing with the ceramic metal halide. I may try cob led in the future but I really can't find a reason to switch right now.

I will be back with another one here in a few weeks! Starting over!
